"I am late with my review, but will not forget my experience with Mr. Garrett.  He responded to my email request for assistance with my flower bed.  The only thing I knew was I wanted hostas, but was unsure how to begin or what to do.  He gave me some options to consider and agreed to come by to assess the project area. He was very enthusiatic and you could easily see his passion for what he does.  He gave me multiple wonderful ideas of how to arrange the hostas, and how to incorporate colors with them and even drew them out for me so I coudl visualize it!  He patiently answered all my questions, listened to everything I had to say and did not make me feel pressured about anything.  He gave me a quote that was reasonable if I wanted him to do the job.  Which I really do, but unfortunately I wasn't able to take advantage of his services right then.  However, I definitely plan to to schedule his services in the early spring of next year.  I am very eager and very confident that he will turn my dead flower bed into a beautiful area that will bring curb appeal and compliment my home.  I look forward to his services and will update my review after it is completed. <br />"

"No sooner were the pool contractors done when the Blue Ridge Fencing crew showed up to start the pool fencing. They did the job quickly and beautifully! We actually put the pool in the pasture adjacent to our yard. So after fencing the pool they then replaced 300 feet of the horse fence so that the pool became part of the yard. They showed up early every day and finished the job in less than a week. After completion, I needed to modify a gate to prevent a dog escape from the new yard. They returned quickly and resolved the problem for me I have learned that often the low bidder is not very detailed in the proposal. When I confronted the other bidder with some questions it was clear he was not going to get my job done according to my needs either in terms of time or quality. Blue Ridge does quality work and does it in a timely manner. I highly recommend them. <br /> <br /> I have since had additional work done and continue to rave about the service they provide."

"We had an excellent first-time experience with this local handyman company.  Owner Mr. Chavez came by to see what job would entail before giving us an estimate.  Estimate seemed reasonable (we provided the new mailpost and mailbox), so we took a chance.  Crew member Jeff arrived within a reasonable time on the day promised, and with an impressive array of tools and equipment, to include a hole-digger.  Jeff was very competent, professional, courteous and customer-oriented.  His installation included solidifying the mail post into a concrete base (old mailpost had just been placed into the ground with no concrete base), which he mixed up on-site. When we unpackaged the new mailbox we had purchased, there were no attaching screws or nails - but no problem, Jeff had plenty on hand.  Jeff cheerfully installed a FLS paperbox and new house address numbers on the new post as well.  He also adjusted the new mailbox's stiff, cranky lid so that it would open and close properly. Bottom line: an excellent overall experience with Quality Expectations, a company that we would definitely recommend and consider using again. <br />"

We started talking about the issues we had with roof, he gave us a price and we hired him on the spot. Met him to get materials, he had our leak and horrible roof fixed in TWO DAYS, clean up and all, he was on time, and didn't stay too late. it was a great new start. we plan on calling him back and having him fix some issues in house next."

"We have a stone and log sided chalet home with a detached two car garage and matching wooden shed. The property is a decade old. We hired Dave’s Custom Painting to spray wash, re-caulk all windows, doors and corner seams of the house and to stain the house and deck as well as paint the double garage door and breezeway entrance to the garage. Dave Foster and his co-worker, James did a fantastic job of making a ten year old home and deck look like new. Every aspect of the job from spray washing, caulking, taping off all windows and stone was done with care in preparing all the exterior logs and deck boards for re-staining. In addition, part of the prep work involved replacing a half dozen rotting deck boards, which we supplied, and Dave and James undertook the needed repairs. They cleaned up and left the property looking brand new. We would highly recommend Dave’s Custom Painting without hesitation. Dave and James made our property look amazing."
