"Our experience with Yanton Outdoor Living was wonderful. From the initial design stage to the sanding of the pavers and landscape placement, Chris and his crew were extremely professional. They were on time, worked hard, respectful, and flexible. I would no doubt recommend them to anyone needing landscape or hardscape work done."

"Marvin Organic Gardens-- Wes and Diantha are exceptional! Wes really spent the time to review our needs and interests to inform the designs he proposed and worked joyfully and creatively with us to adapt options to meet both our desires and overall budget. He was easy to reach and available to talk in the evening around work schedules. The work he and his team did was impeccable from ongoing communication to daily set up and clean up! No project advances without some unknowns surfacing and that's when you can really see who a team and business are. Wes and team communicated timely, worked with us to determine steps forward, and were flexible in the necessary adaptations. The work and finished product of this team is pure craftsmanship-- the attention to detail and passion for their work comes through at every stage. We'll be eager to work with them again in the future as we shape our outdoor space for the health of our home and personal well-being."

"Quick, responsive and efficient! The first job, Rob had to come back to finish/clean-up a few items but I was happy with the work. The pavers along the side of the driveway took longer than quoted/expected. However, it was 90+ deg all week and my yard was full of rocks. The crew worked extremely hard under the harsh conditions. <br /> I thought the price was high but have since realized that you get what you pay for. I plan on having Lawn Innovations finish my backyard this spring/summer. <br /> I recently had work completed by other contractor trades and have not been pleased with the contractor or the work. I appreciate Lawn Innovations approach and quality. I have and do recommend Lawn Innovations to anyone looking for quality landscaping. <br /> <br /> <br />"

"We needed to connect our patio to our deck stairs and lower concrete patio. We also had a steep slope we needed a stair-type solution to. Jake came out and went over the details with us. We decided to replace the current square concrete block patio under the pergola with a round paver patio that connected everything. Jake also recommended a large natural stone block stair to deal with the slope. After getting the estimate we were pleased and went ahead and paid the half up-front to get it on the books. They were able to start only a couple months later and spent a good week working on the project. The old patio was torn down and the blocks carefully stacked. Yard damage was minimized and a very nice patio and path was built. The initial stairs connecting to the concrete patio wasn't exactly what we wanted, and Jake had it rebuilt with no complaints and no additional cost. We are extremely pleased with how everything turned-out, and would definitely recommend them."

"One day, while driving, I noticed how beautiful one of my neighbor’s yard looked and then saw a young man working on the bushes. I stopped to find out if he could do the same for my house. That is when I hired Elegant Landscaping. Super happy with the results. The yard looks like a work of art. If you get the chance to hire Elegant Landscaping, do it. Your neighbors will thank you. They are highly skilled and professional and my #1 recommendation."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Veterans-administration, OH

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
