They came out, inspected the job, educated me as to what we needed done, how and why… and gave me an estimate that evening. Called other plumbers. Some said they would charge me to come out for an estimate and one even gave me an estimate over the phone without even asking questions about the job. I called Van Guard and scheduled an appointment to do the job. He came out, replaced the toilet and did exactly what he said he needed to do. No hidden fees, no outrageous ad-ons, no bullsh*t.
