He gave us a free quote, a full scope description, and pictures of issue areas. After we signed the contract, the Keith team came out the next week to complete the work. So in total, we had everything fixed within 10 days of our first call. Hugh also gave us pictures of all the repairs, walking us through what he and his team accomplished. As repairs were underway and the almost inevitable hidden damages showed up, Ryan coordinated directly with the insurance company to cover the additional costs. "We did a lot of research and wanted a roof for our single family home that would last and not have to be replaced after 20-30 years. We discovered the ECO-Star synthetic slate tiles which are made from recycled tires and could be recycled again after they need replacement in 50 - 100 years! This sustainability appealed to us. We’d rather pay double now the price of a shingle roof (1800 ft) and be done with it for good in our life time. The higher price is mostly due to the more extensive work involved. And we are very happy with Riba Construction’s work. The foreman H.B. did an incredible job, communicated well and answered all our questions. He really took his time to meticulously make sure everything was done properly. The company owners came multiple times ether to check in with us or to help with the work. It took a bit longer than anticipated but we’d rather have a job done well than rushed. An Eco Star inspector came out and validated that their product was installed to their specifications. And now we have a 50 year warranty on it. It was a pleasure having H.B. and his crew around. We can highly recommend Riba Construction."
