Small jobs welcome

"We had our front & back deck painted, the house pressure washed, & front door painted. Everything looks great, even offered to replace the rotted wood at the bottom of our columns & painted those as well. The house now has a fresh look to it! Great quality for the price!"

"John is a super nice guy, and he explains everything that he plans on doing before actually doing the job. John close in the drywalls and put in borders surrounding the sliding glass door I had installed. He also finishes the job by painting the wall to match and he redid the ceiling. The job came out superb. I will download pictures later. Thanks again, John!"

"Great!!! They came when they said they would, protected my furniture and floors from paint and stain spatters, left the job site very clean, and finished the job on time (actually earlier than promised). Their work is very high-quality and the results are beautiful. Do not hesitate to hire Luis because he is younger than many other contractors; he knows what he’s doing and we are already making a list of other work we want him to do in our house."

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Violet, LA

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
