The process took three days: one to remove the moldy part of the wall and dry the interior of the wall and carpet, then after letting it dry over the weekend, another came in to plaster, and then the next day another came in to paint and replace the vent and wood trim. He left my place spotless, vacuumed the whole room, and even took the initiative to tighten a screw on my screen door. I highly recommend this company. On 15 March 2022 John and Kyle came to perform that service. They called to say they were running EARLY and asked if it was OK to come before the scheduled appointment time. I of course said "yes," and they arrived on time, asked if I had any specific concerns they should be aware of, and then proceeded to do their job. When they finished they spent a few minutes letting me know what they saw and what they had done. The framers and sheetrock guys were meticulous about covering doorways, furniture, etc. to keep the dust from covering the rest of the home. The plasterers and painters did flawless work. The tile guys and flooring guys did such a nice job that my husband kept getting up in the middle of the night to look at it! The vertical herringbone pattern backsplashes in our kitchen are as beautiful as a work of art. All the crown moulding and chair railing they added in our den is perfect. We love every bit of the renovations and upgrades and would not change a thing! The transformation was more than worth having to live through the burst pipe! We would hire Don and his crew again in a heartbeat. In fact, we plan to hire them when we are ready to have our bathrooms gutted and redone. Air Duct Cleaners of Virginia, a subsidiary of Servpro Chesapeake, saw to it that ducts that were laying on the ground caused by broken hangers, were properly re-hung. When we sensed a problem, Steve quickly came to house to see if they did anything wrong. No Cost - just concern on there part. He verified no problem with his moisture meter; discoloration was a flaw in the veneer paneling. I highly recommend you let Servpro of Chesapeake perform total re-work and act as contractor. I am only estimating the cost, because my insurance company paid them."
