"We got estimates from 3 fencing companies to install black aluminum fencing around our rear yard with 3 gates. American Heritage was competitive and offered a pet version - posts are close enough together that our pup is unable to squeeze his head through - we liked that American Heritage is a local family owned and operated business, used American made products and didn’t have a negative thing to say about the other fencing companies we talked to....the same can’t be said about the others. Fence came in and was installed exactly how and where we agreed...love the fence! Took about 6 hrs to install 800+’ of fence..posts are in concrete, gates are self closing and lockable. The owner did the estimate, and the son did the layout for the crew to install. Buy American! Buy Local! Would recommend American Heritage to family and friends with no hesitation!"

He talked with me on the phone then came and checked out the job site. <br /> He came the day before the sewer work was to be completed to take down the fence and put the fence back up after the sewer job and rip rap job was completed. It was a small job but he was willing to do it. When he replaced the fence, he had a couple workers with them and he completed the job quickly. One of my poles was rotted on the bottom and he replaced it. His crew left the jobsite clean. <br /> Other than one slightly shiny pole, you would never guess the fence was taken out and put back. <br /> <br /> <br />"

"I did my whole yard which is close to an acre; the back and front yard. I had a Dalmation that liked to dig his way out no matter what I tried he always got out of the yard;and this fence completely fixed the problem. Ten years ago this invisible fence works with a signal that works with a wire and in my back yard the wire runs through my chainlink fence. But 10 years after the install my box got struck by lightening and they sent me right out a new box and everything without any additional fees. The price was a bit high but it was worth every penny."

"Paul was responsive to my request for a quote. A tree fell on our fence during a storm, a small section of fencing was damaged, as well as a couple of the poles and the top bar. I hired him and he did not show up or call me on the first scheduled date. I called him, he rescheduled, and he did show up the second time. I had a roll of new chain link fencing material which I had showed Paul when he estimated the job. He said it was more than enough to do the small repair so he just had to supply the poles and top bar.  His estimate included trash removal of the broken fencing. <br /> His fence repair seems fine and I appreciate the fact that he would take a small job. However, he left the broken fencing behind, telling me that he did not have room in his truck that day due to another job he was going to. He assured me he would be back the next day to pick up the trash. He did have room on his truck to remove the roll of new chain link fencing material that I had told him he could use to fix our fence. I noticed his helper load that material in to their truck. I believe I may have mentioned to Paul when I first met with him that I had no use for the new fencing, so I didn't say anything to him about the fact that I saw him take it.  My concern is with the fact that he opted to take this instead of our trash. He also looked surprised when I came out of the house and he told me that he thought I wasn't home. He did not make any mention of the new fencing material and the fact that he had loaded it on his truck. <br /> I trusted him to complete the job and paid him that day so he wouldn't have to schedule a time when I was home to remove the trash and get paid.  He did not return to pick up the trash. I have repeatedly called him and emailed him. Each time I communicate with him, he assures me he hasn't forgotten me and will be back to remove the trash.  It is now June. I believe two and one half months was ample time for him to find 5 minutes to clean up the trash per our agreement.  <br /> I guess it is partially my fault.  I keep trusting people whom I hire to actually do what they agree to and I am quick to pay these workers, even if there is just one little thing left to do.  Paul is not the first person to disappear after being paid but I keep holding onto the belief that most people are honorable. When I am proven correct, it reminds me that this is true, most people are honest and there are just a few people I encounter who take the money and run. <br />  If Paul decides to pick up this trash, he can be among the people who restores my faith in our fellow beings and helps me to  trust the next person I hire. <br />"

"There are no words to describe the staff, the workers and the quality of the fencing installed less than great!!! It started with Anthony, and me changing my mind about 3-4 times in which he never hesitated to update me on the new cost it would be, always in a friendly and professional manner. I added some xtra features hoping they would " get it" and understand and apparently they did! The fence turned out even better than I expected. Absolutely beautiful! Also, a must for me was using at least a #2 grade lumber which was standard for them anyway. Totally satisfied, need more work done and these guys will be the ones doing it no questions asked. "I asked friends if they could recommend a roofing company that would do a relatively small job like this, and do so in a timely manner. I got no recommendations. I decided to try Angie's list for the first time. There I found Authentic Restoration, which was highly rated. I called and in fairly short order, Scott Bullard (Field Operation Manager) came out and determined my problem. He explained that the rubber boots that seal around the pipes have a life expectancy of 8 years or so. He showed me a product that was made to fit over the original boot that would stop my leak. Since the roof was 13 years old and I had about a dozen other vent pipes, I asked him to address all of them. The price for all was much less than I originally expected to pay to fix the single leak. The best part was that Scott gave me a date and time that he would do the work. He was right on time. Also, after the first rain, he called to make sure the repair was successful. It was."
