"Distinctive Landscaping did a major project behind our house that completely changed the looks of the back yard. We had lived in the house for 32 years and this was a project I had thought about many times, but I had to find the right landscape designer to implement it. Kurt was that person. He listened to my vision and came up with a design which was modified several times until it was ready to go. The area behind the house had erosion problems and he planned a retaining wall that solved this and flowed into a walkway that curved behind the porch and deck. Shrubs were added along part of the walkway. Four shrubs were also planted in the front yard. The work spanned almost three months (mostly due to weather related interruptions) and by Spring, the back yard had a whole new look with a walkway and patio that we could use and enjoy."
