Evol was the only contractor who wanted to do things properly and officially by working with the county on getting permits even though it would be a much more time-consuming process for him. He was honest with us about our options and never pressured us into taking a more expensive route. In one room of our house, we ended up pouring concrete instead of rebuilding the wooden floor joists because Evol was worried the same type of water damage would continue to happen to us over the years if we elected to go with wooden joists again.
