He went through the entire house making notes, and later that evening we got a detailed, competitive, written estimate, that included a “cost will not exceed” figure. (Our last move, more than 27 years ago, was more than $1,000 OVER the estimate, and we moved less than 15 blocks away.) The moving men and truck arrived on time — a tiny bit early, in fact, which was fine with us. Each of the men was friendly, meticulous, courteous, knowledgeable, accommodating, honest and very hardworking, and all the guys had terrific attitudes. They took excellent care of all our belongings and got everything to our new home in perfect condition. They took their time to make sure everything was in good order before moving to the next room. They removed headboards, disconnected our washing machine and clothes dryer, dismantled bed frames, etc. and set everything up again in our new digs. Instead of leaving items that weren’t marked properly just anywhere in our new home, they asked questions, and each of them just couldn’t have been nicer. Mike also provided us with tons of boxes, wardrobes and bubble wrap and charged us practically nothing for any of it. As moves go, and NONE of them is easy, this was a PERFECT and stress-free move. Mike is easy to get along with, is very responsive, helpful and accommodating, and his crew is simply awesome ... EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM! We couldn’t be happier.
