"The communication from the office was wonderful. The technician arrived late, but apologized. Did put up the fan. However, the only reason they didnโ€™t get a five star rating as he did not ask me what size downrod I wanted and installed the longer one and I wanted the shorter one. When I asked him, he said itโ€™s too late to change it now. However, he was courteous and kind. Just didnโ€™t follow through on what I had asked because he said it would take too much to change it."

"I have read Stephannie's and Michael's reviews on the BBB website and agree wholeheartedly with both. I chose this company because it was BBB accredited with an A+ rating, but unfortunately did not see these two reviews before I asked them to do a routine maintenance service on my furnace in preparation for winter. My system was working fine before they arrived. I got the sales pitch as well, but in addition, the technicians completely disabled a whole-house working furnace (saying that it was the law) before leaving me with no heat at all for the entire home, three days before the coldest day on record in two years (14 degrees), and fourteen days before Christmas. To say this is irresponsible (if not dangerous) is an understatement. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Steer clear."

"Payton from Bullseye did excellent work installing shop lights in our detached garage. He ran power from our house, installed a panel, ran all the wire and put in a few outlets and switches too. He finished it all super quick, and was very fair with his price. Great work ethic, great communication, great company, and he left us super happy with the end result. "

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Walnut Cove, NC

There are several telltale signs that your home is due for an electrical upgrade. You may need to rewire your house if your lights are constantly flickering or your circuit breaker keeps tripping. If you feel mild electric shocks when you touch light switches, hear buzzing sounds, or notice burning smells, you may need to rewire your house, too. Discolored or burnt-looking switches and faceplates are another crucial warning sign.ย

Properly installed copper wiring in a residential property can last as long as 50 to 100 years in some cases, but many homes over 30 years old are due for an upgrade. Thatโ€™s the timeline that many experts recommend, even if it is only a partial update to accommodate technological advancements, increased power demands, and changing safety requirements.ย

At $3 to $5 per square foot, the cost to wire a 2,000-square-foot house ranges from $6,000 to $10,000, on average. This can depend on many factors, like the age and complexity of the house and how easy it is for contractors to access the areas they need to get the job done. Opening and repairing walls can further add to your total cost.ย
