"Great job, this was a somewhat complicated project. I had two contractors, one to demo, design and rebuild the basement and EnviroShapes to tear out and replace the concrete. So there was a lot of coordination needed between them including redoing some underground plumbing. In addition I had to access the site through the back of my neighbors property which required careful use and care. The finished floor is great, so nice to have after dealing with years of heaving and broken concrete that was originally there. The new one has rebar at two foot spacing with 3,000 psi concrete. It should be bomb proof."

"Domian responded when three other concrete contractors wouldn't even answer the phone to give us a bid. They said that they usually work on larger jobs than ours but they would give us a price if we would agree to be flexible on the work date.  Since our job was a smaller one, their plan was to complete the work when they could couple it with another job nearby.  We agreed.

It took a few weeks to get scheduled but they came and did nice work over 2 days and were very courteous to my wife who was home during part of their work. It started to rain after the concrete was poured and one of the workers said he lived nearby and if weather posed a threat he would return to cover their work. The rain was light, no cover was needed and the sidewalk looks good. The buried downspout now empties rainwater harmlessly to another part of our yard instead of the walk up to our front door which will be a major improvement when winter comes.

I should also add that our sidewalk was not a routine install. It was located over a section of side yard that had a layer of solid rock that prevented the usual dirt removal and form set. The brought a bobcat to clear the path so that the sidewalk would follow a smooth, level path parallel to the street.

There were no surprises. They did what they promised and their workmanship was excellent."

He came out reviewed the project requirements and worked closely with the other contractors to provide us the perfect elevation to our deck and fire pit areas, as well as the foundation for the outdoor kitchen. The end result is a beautiful stamped concrete sitting and walking area that blends seamlessly with our deck and stone walls for the kitchen area and the stoned fire pit and sitting wall there. This planning and detailed review was critically important as there was little room for variation between the level he set with the concrete and the height of our deck down to our one wrap around step. We also had to deal with the slight, but important 3 inch slope with our back yard and make the concrete level for the deck and not too obtrusive in the back yard. All this while ensuring sufficient drainage not to cause issues there. It couldn't have worked out better! These guys are very hard workers and make sure that their efforts are going to meet your expectations."

The color choices were limited, however, the price was within budget and with a few changes to their contract the details were covered. Of last note, I would recommend that the side walls next to the project be masked off to protect from over spray."
