"Many thanks to Francisco Fuentes (Best Roofing Kansas City) and his crew for a superb job installing gutter covers, making repairs to our 17 year old wood roof (he does other types of roofs too) and sealing our chimney cap. Francisco put in extra effort to accommodate some last minute decisions we made after the project started and his project oversight made for a good comfort level. His communication during the entire process (bid to completion) was great! His pricing was extremely competitive in relation to other bids I received. I would highly recommend him."

"Wind damage to roof. Insurance company appraisal was missing detail. Integrity worked with insurance company and was able to correct difference. Integrity kept me informed of schedule and there were no weather delays so all went well. I have found a couple of nails after they left but nothing else. I have used Integrity before and was happy with their work and feel the same way about the roof."

"<p>We had some high winds/tornado that had shingles off of my roof laying all around in my front and back yard.  After a few days of rain I saw leaking in my garage and signs of leaking in the bedroom that's connected to the garage and in the same area where the leaking was in the garage.  I called Chris because he had done some work for me before and I was very please with him and the outcome of that job.  He came out the same day I called him and did a walk around the house.  He took pictures of the roof and showed me what damage I had and how much it was going to cost me.  Chris and his son Mike arrived a little before 9:00AM this morning, 12/7/15.  They were done by early afternoon about 2:00PM.  They did some extra things for me too.  I really appreciated that.  I had a hole in my roof that some critters had eaten in it and I wasn't even aware of that and my garage door was cracking in one of the corners.  He repaired all of that for me.  My roof looks brand new.  They also cleaned my gutter and downspouts and installed gutter guards.  I have some siding and paint work that needs to be done and Chris and Mike are definitely going to be the ones to handle that for me.  These guys are great.  They are reasonable and very dependable.  Excellent customer service.  I would recommend them to anyone anytime.  Thank you Chris and Mike.</p>"

"I had Premier come out to replace my composite over shake roof and my gazebo roof. I had insurance to cover the cost. The good: Great quality No complaints for my house. No problems with insurance, Premier took care of it $250 referral reward thanks to Patrick The bad: Had to deal with not know when people came When the came they would leave without me inspecting to work They treated Patrick like a mule. No medical leave. Process started in June and lasted to October Offer $200 of a $15,000 bill (1.33% discount) Premier Problems Before anything happened I had to ask them to erase the chalk they had used to mark damage. First time the roofers came they didn’t know that my roof was composite. They had to return the next day. They left lots of wood in my attic. I had to demand someone to clean it up. They did assign a guy who did a good job. They replaced the gutter covers, but didn’t replace them all (said they were broken with no evidence). Strips did not completely cover the gazebo. One corner was not glued properly. The top of the gazebo lacked the metal around it They came and added the metal top without contacting me They came once to fix the strips and didn’t have any strips. They came a second time with new strips, but left one length of original strip They came by a third time and replaced the last strip and added more tar to the top. Even though the metal casing is not uniform around the top, the tar made it less obvious. There was one tile I had complained about, and finally Patrick climbed the ladder and finished it off. Also discovered late was the brick had been damaged while they did the roof (I think). There are still indentations on the brick and pavement. There is still chalk on my 2nd floor windows, but someone is coming out."

"RSG Construction, LLC  represented  by Eric Herman the principal owner, inspected and referred his estimates of damage to our roof and guttering to our insurance provider.  His professional knowledge of his industry and training of working crews led to my wife and I having a easy time replacing the damage done by a spring storm with golf ball hail and 70 mile per hour straight line winds.  <br /> <br /> We live in Smithville, Missouri and so does Eric. His company is professional, quick, on time and flexible with his customers needs. <br /> <br /> I would recommend RSG Construction, LLC to anyone in the KCMO area who have roofing and exterior damage to their homes."

FAQs for roofing installation & roof repair projects in Warrensburg, MO

An average Cape Cod roof-raising project requires approximately two to three months from start to finish. The timeline depends on several variables, including weather conditions, contractor availability, material delivery schedules, and the specific complexity of your home's structure. The process involves multiple phases, including demolition, framing, roofing, window installation, and interior finishing. Working with an experienced contractor who provides a detailed timeline can help set realistic expectations for the project duration.

While most Cape Cod homes can accommodate roof-raising modifications, each house requires individual structural assessment. Older homes may need foundation reinforcement or wall strengthening before supporting additional weight. Factors like the existing roof framing system, load-bearing wall placement, and overall structural integrity all influence feasibility. A qualified structural engineer should evaluate your specific property before proceeding with design plans. Additionally, local zoning ordinances may restrict maximum building height or architectural modifications in certain neighborhoods.

Temporary relocation is highly recommended during a Cape Cod roof raising project. The construction process involves removing portions of your existing roof, exposing interior spaces to potential weather damage, and creating significant noise and dust. Most homeowners find temporary accommodations for the two to three-month construction period, with relocation costs ranging from $2,000 to $6,000, depending on your housing choices. If staying with family or friends isn't possible, budget for short-term rental or extended-stay hotel expenses as part of your overall project cost.

Consider roof raising when you experience severely limited headroom throughout the second floor, find yourself constantly stooping under sloped ceilings, or have minimal usable floor space due to low ceiling heights. Other indicators include inadequate natural light, poor ventilation, and difficulty accommodating standard furniture in upstairs rooms. Simple renovations can improve an attic's appearance, but cannot create additional headroom without structural modifications. A complete roof-raising project makes more sense than cosmetic renovations if you're seeking genuine second-floor living space rather than just storage improvements.

Begin your search by seeking contractors with specific experience in Cape Cod structural modifications and dormer additions. Request detailed portfolios showing similar completed projects and ask for references from previous clients with comparable work. Verify that potential contractors hold appropriate licenses and insurance coverage and understand local building codes relevant to roof raising. Interview multiple candidates, comparing price quotes and their communication style, project approach, and proposed timeline. The ideal contractor should demonstrate a thorough understanding of Cape Cod architectural characteristics and structural requirements.
