"I recently hired Blaise Construction for a combination of security system installations and general home improvements, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. Their team was punctual, professional, and clearly knowledgeable in both construction and modern security technology. They walked me through the best options for my home, completed the installation with real attention to detail, and made sure everything was working perfectly before they left. The home improvement work was just as impressive — clean craftsmanship, thoughtful suggestions, and a final result that exceeded my expectations. What stood out most was their communication and respect for my home. They kept the workspace tidy, explained each step of the process, and delivered exactly what they promised. It’s rare to find a company that handles both construction and security work with this level of skill and reliability. I’d confidently recommend Blaise Construction to anyone looking for quality work and t"

Small jobs welcome

"I thought that this project was going to cost me a lot more than it did. I thought the ceiling would have to be completely replaced, he assured me it didn't and he repaired it instead. He did an excellent job."

"cost $110 to find it would cost $600 to fix. It never makes sense to fix anything anymore. Whenever I have an appliance failure from now on I will just have to buy a new one. That's really sad and bad for the environment, but parts and labor totally swamp chinese production cost for new devices. I spent $1300 for a new GE oven to replace a five year old LG oven. SAD!!!"

"We needed a transfer switch for a generator that we bought. We had one idea if what we wanted done, but mike told us of his idea which turned out to be a much better idea. He showed up on time for the estimate, we liked him, his price quote and felt very comfortable with him. We excepted his quote on the spot and schedule the job. He showed up with his crew to do the job, it was done quickly, he cleaned up real nice. Before he left he explained to me step by step how to do what needed to be done when I needed to switch to generator. I was very pleased with the work and recommended him to other"

FAQs for appliance (microwave oven) installation and replacement projects in Warrington, PA

A pro can finish the job in one to three hours. Countertop models are the quickest, but built-in, drawer, and over-the-range units take longer because the installer may need to run a new outlet, modify cabinets, or add venting. Any add-ons can push the timeline closer to the three-hour mark. Hiring a licensed installer ensures the wiring is safe and the appliance operates at peak performance.

Because an over-the-range microwave doubles as a range hood, it needs proper venting. You can opt for a recirculating model that filters and recirculates air back into the kitchen, or a ducted unit that exhausts outdoors. Are you unsure which route suits your cooking style? Ask your installer for guidance before making a purchase.

Only microwaves labeled “over-the-range” have the built-in venting and lighting that’s necessary for safe, code-compliant use above a stove. Countertop models don’t have those safeguards. Before you swipe your card, have a licensed microwave installer confirm you’re choosing the right unit for the space and ensure compliance with local codes.

It’s best not to install a countertop microwave in your cabinets. Countertop models aren’t designed for use in an enclosed cabinet, and blocking those vents can trap moisture or even create a fire hazard. A built-in or drawer microwave is designed for tight spaces. Run your plans by an installer to make sure you’re buying the right style for the spot.

You don’t need an electrician if the outlet already meets the microwave’s power needs and sits in the right spot. In that case, you’re good to go ahead with the installation. If the outlet is undersized, outdated, or too far away, hire a licensed electrician to install a new one and ensure everything is code-compliant.

With routine care, most microwaves last between five and 10 years. To help them reach their maximum lifespan, wipe up spills immediately, wash the grease filter periodically, avoid using metal dishware, and close the door gently. Those simple habits reduce malfunctions and keep the appliance running smoothly for the long haul.
