"Martinez Masonry did a fantastic job on my covered patio and they were extremely easy to work with. They stayed in constant communication with me and had the job finished in no time."

"I’m very pleased with the brick repair work that was done. The repairs were completed professionally, the brickwork blends in well with the existing wall, and the area was left clean when the job was finished. The workmanship and attention to detail were excellent, and I would definitely recommend their brick repair services to anyone needing quality masonry work."

"I am incredibly grateful for the fantastic service Corey Harris provided in the way he addressed my chronic flooding issue. My husband and I purchased a new home about eight years. During that time, we discovered a hidden creek in our backyard. The creek received water from several neighbors' located behind us on an hill. After a storm or heavy rain, the creek would crest. This caused an enormous amount of water to run through our backyard, into our driveway, cross the street, enter our neighbors' driveway, and into their backyard. The water resulted in large holes forming in the street and flooding. Because of Corey's excellent analytical skills, he was able to offer his assistance. We had several lengthy discussions which focused on the best approach without spending a fortune. Corey explained everything clearly and gave many options, as well as explanations of each. Corey showed enthusiasm. He was professional, personable, and a fast pace worker. He also exhanged thoughts and opinions with neighbors impacted by the flood. My neighbors and I can't thank Corey enough for going beyond expectations. Job well done."

"had the pleasure of working with North Star for my patio project, and they absolutely crushed it! The results were stunning—even better than I imagined. The team is not only incredibly skilled and professional but also a joy to work with. They’re now doing my fence, and I couldn’t be happier with their work. They answered all my questions patiently and even connected me with other trusted professionals for additional home projects. North Star truly brought my vision to life, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for top-notch service and a fantastic experience!"

"Yes very professional and affordable i absolutely love there work i highly recommend Owens hardscapes"

"The job went well. They rebuilt our retaining wall, repaired a brick on our front steps, and replaced several broken bricks on our mailbox. The brick we have could not be matched exactly, I would have liked to know that earlier than the day they came to work; we had spoken several times in weeks prior, however it is a close match and the job went well."

"They were on-time for a quote as well as showed up within a couple of days to do the work. Cleaned up after themselves and left me with a wonderful repair on my collapsed steps. Even used the existing bricks, when others would not."

"Building a new out building for a wood shop.  The location needed some excavation back into a hill to come up with a level area large enough for the 16'x20' footprint and 6' perimeter area for the installers.  The work seem to grow as we moved back into the hill; we ended up using close to 80 railroad ties to shore up the back and sides for the site.
We also decided to "bury" the power feed from an existing power pole so a change was made to the original contract.  While digging the trench, came across a significant piece of "Shelby County Gold (chert!)" which posed its own challenge.  Mother nature proved a bit fitful with Spring rain to really soak down the newly exposed dirt; delays were unavoidable but Heath stayed with it and we were able to get a level building site and a wire ready power conduit before the builders arrived to start construction.
All of this being said, Heath did a great job on what started as a seemingly easy request but turned out to be a more complex project with multiple challenges.  We are very pleased with his work, his work ethic and attention to detail.  Any future grading or excavation work will definitely be pointed in Heath's direction.

"Antonio and his crew did an amazing job.  I was a little reluctant to give such a big job to someone I hadn't worked with before, but after reading all of the rave reviews on Angie's list I decided to give him a try.  He came  by the same day I called him and after discussing the job, he gave me a bid the next day.  Not 10 days or two weeks later- the next day. (Some of the companies I contacted didn't even bother to call or come by until Antonio was almost done with the job). Nine days total, excluding weekends, somewhat delayed due to several days of rain.
Not only was his price the lowest bid from those I received, (3), it was less than half of the highest bid from another well known company... but more importantly, the quality of work and attention to detail exceeded my expectations. So much so that I kept finding things for him to do.  Mainly digging up and replanting dead or diseased shrubs & plants from the harsh winter. He is very flexible and motivated to please and accommodate as things arise that had not been planned or accounted for.
I'm not telling you not to get multiple job estimates, but I have had a lot of landscape & hardscape work done by several different companies through the years, and not only did he do it for less, but the quality of materials and workmanship was simply excellent. His crew works hard when no one is watching.  That's rare these days.
Great work, great price, good people.  I'm very satisfied and ANCLA construction has my highest recommendation.
