"Was very pleased with the overall result of New Again. I submitted dimensions and pictures over the website and received a very competitive quote. After stripping the deck there were a few more boards where some rotting was identified and Barak and his team replaced them promptly. Stain looks great and made an immediate difference. I had been contemplating if my 20 year old deck was too far gone and needed replacing... but after seeing what Barak could do with stripping the old paint off, replacing some bad boards, and staining... I'm very glad I chose to do this rather than replacement."

"I contacted many fence companies to replace a section of chain link fence and replace a single gate with a double gate. Responses included 1) they don't do chain link fence any longer, 2) the job was too small to bother with, or 3) they simply didn't return my phone call. However, North Star responded positively, and I could tell after talking with Jeff that customer service is a priority for them. The entire process went extremely well, and we are very pleased with the results. John, the owner, was out within days to prepare a proposal. "Preston Schmidt works alone and works harder than I can describe! He gently power washed each cedar shake on our large and complicated roof. It was early October in Minnesota, so he worked from 10 AM to 5 PM for two days on the cleaning, replacing about 6 shingles. Preston had to use lots of safety precautions while washing the roof. The roof had to thoroughly dry before he could apply the seal coating. Nature did not cooperate as it rained every day for a week. However, when we finally had two days of sunny dry weather, Preston finished the seal coating. The roof looks fantastic!"

"I'm glad I waited 10 years to write this review, as now the fence they installed has failed. At first it looked great, but I wish I had asked more questions and watched what they were doing at the time. The cedar posts were not treated in any way and they did not pour concrete footings for every post. They also used nails instead of screws on the panels and now nails are sticking out. When I called him recently to come back, I was disappointed that it was out of warranty. Our previous fence lasted 31 years! He gave me an estimate to fix the fence, then I called other companies for additional estimates and found out that they will not fix a fence they didn't install. So, I emailed Security Fence again to hire, but he never got back to me. Do not hire them unless you make sure they use treated posts, use screws instead of nails and make sure/watch them pour footings for every post. Now I have to either find handymen to fix my fence, or put up a new fence. If I put in a new one, I will choose vinyl this time. If Security Fence makes this right, I will update this review."
