"The ceiling in my garage ( a standard 2-car attached garage) needed some serious TLC; a couple of drywall panels had worked themselves loose from the ceiling studs, the ceiling needed to be re-taped and re-sealed, and the whole garage needed to be repainted. The crew (4 people including the boss Delfino Franco) showed up about 7:30 on a Monday morning, and were done late Tuesday afternoon. They were quiet (no loud music blaring), and just went about their business. They spend Monday doing the repair work, including all the taping and mudding, and did their painting on Tuesday. I could not be happier with the quality of their work. If I have other drywall/painting projects in the future, I won't even think about asking anyone else for estimates. "I had a drywall disaster one Saturday night. I thought the drywall on the affected wall would need to be replaced. As a matter of fact I was told that much by a very knowledgeable person. So I went to angie’s list with the intention to find a drywall installer. MKD was one of the providers i selected. I did that at about 8 pm on that Saturday night. I then turned on my TV to watch a movie not expecting anything till at least Monday morning. In about 3 minutes I got contacted by MKD and after discussing my options, I was happy to learn that all was not lost and that they could do a miracle saving me from installing new drywall - a 2k endeavor. And guess what, they could do it Sunday morning! Wow. Mario showed up exactly on time. He was very patient and friendly throughout the whole proce . He worked for about 7 hours and did an AMAZING job. I also asked him to touch an area in the kitchen that had bothered me and my wife for months. He took care of that too. They took out damaged drywall from two rooms that was caused by seasonal shifting in my home's structure, installed new insulation, replaced the drywall with expansion joints, and painted the three walls that had been damaged. They took great care to contain the dust from sanding the drywall joint compound and did a thorough cleanup. They arrived on time, kept me informed, and did what they said they were going to do in the time estimated to complete the project. Superb customer relations...and they did all that at a cost less than others estimated that it would cost.
