"We hired SavATree several years ago to assess our dying maple trees. They recommended a treatment plan and literally saved our trees from being cut down. The trees are treated quarterly and are thriving. We recently hired SavATree to trim all of our trees (4 large maples and 5 large crepe myrtles). They did an EXCELLENT job and I cannot praise the arborist and team highly enough. Polite, professional, communicate very well, very neat - nice trucks with the latest equipment, great uniforms. "We have used Patrick's crew for several years and they do great work. They send out alerts as to when they will be fertilizing, aeration, seeding, etc and they are VERY well priced for all they do. We have a dog and it is important that the gates are closed --for obvious reasons -- they make sure that our gates are closed when they leave. They blow all the grass clippings off the walk and driveway... and if the weather prevents them from getting there and the grass gets a bit too long... they will bag the grass so as to not leave dead grass all over the place. I was hesitant to have someone else do our lawn care, but after having Patrick and JustAeration do the work... I have determined that the secret to having a beautiful lawn... have someone else who knows what they are doing do it... Unfortunately we are moving out of the area so we will no longer have their services but HIGHLY recommend JustAeration!!"

     On 30 November 2012, she suffered a seizure while we visited my son in Southern Md.  They airlifted her from Prince Fredrick Memorial Hospital to the Washington Hospital Center, in Washington D.C. She died once on the chopper and once in the Shock Trama Center, but each event she was fotunatly brought back to life..  The long and short of this comes down to two brain tumors (benign) that were later remove over a 15 month period.

     We quickly discovered her lawn manicures were history. We hired a lawn service, pretty much by throwing darts at prospective companies, and hit a total bulls-eye: ACE Lawn and Landscape of Gambrills, MD. My wife's  personal wishes were few: 1). Cut the grass at diagional directions, and use a steel edger to trim the sidewalks and curbs, .not a nylon string..

     We have never been more pleased with their sills, attitude, and work ethics.  In fact, they own our lawn, and have done a magnificent job of adding a mulch combination that will clearly enhance our flower beds,.  KUDOS, in the highest respect..

"Mike Cousins, owner of Colonial Landscape, was punctual and completely responsive to all the questions, concerns, and suggestions we had regarding the re-landscape of our front lawn. He knew his plants and the design he drew up on paper, which we modified slightly the day of the landscaping work, produced a beautiful result.  The crew was efficient, cleaned up all the debris, and did a quality job in half a day. "We had a big tree in our back yard that was clearly dying but, with several obstacles to removing it, we were very hesitant. There are power lines, etc., that ran underneath limbs on two sides plus a small pond under branches on a third side. I got three quotes on removing the tree including Pro Arbor. One was from a 'company' that's done other work in the neighborhood but which is really just a couple of guys with equipment.The second was from an actual company, bonded & licensed, and the third was from Pro Arbor. Pro Arbor came in about 5% higher then the other company and the roaming crew was much less. But I went with Pro Arbor based partly on the reviews here on Angies but also based on the visit to do the estimate. The owner of PA came out, spent a lot of time looking everything over and even more explaining what was going on with the tree (and why we weren't going to be saving it).
Although not the tallest or biggest tree ever, certainly one with challenges. The crew arrived on time, got set up and started work promptly. They were courteous, friendly but not overly so and more than anything, professional. There wasn't an hour-long coffee break or a two hour lunch: they handled themselve around my home professionally and did the job the same way. They were able to remove the tree without damage to the various wires or to the pond and landscaping around it.
I've had other trees removed over the years, again -- some by the random guys with chain saws and a couple by actual tree companies. As I told the crew when they were done: this was the first time I felt like I had hired and paid for tree professionals and received a professional job from start to finish.
I would highly recommend Pro Arbor if asked and I'll never go back to using just anyone: this crew was the real deal and I could not have asked for anything more from them!
