"I called Nelson after I saw him install a new driveway across the street. We didn't need a new driveway, just some crack repairs and fix some seam separation. First off I was impressed with his quick response and follow up. He texted me to verify that we were still on for the inspection and consultation. He showed up right on time. Explained what needed repairs and why. Explained exactly what they would do and why. He gave a very reasonable quote and said they could fo it THE NEXT MORNING!. Again, he called to let me know they were on the way a half hour before the appointment. Then he showed up a few minutes early. I was impressed that Nelson texted pictures of the process on the job every few minutes. This kept me informed without having to look over their shoulders to ensure quality work. The results were excellent and they were done within an hour. I highly recommend this fine contrator."

"The concrete was old, cracking, and was just ugly, so I decided to increase my curb appeal by having it removed and replaced. I entertained 4 bids, 3 from local business and 1 from Portland. The Portland bid was twice that of the others, which told me they didn't want my work. The 3 local bids were all in the same ballpark. I chose Joel because he made the best presentation and offered me the most options, and I'm glad I did. Kailui is a local company (a must for me) and a family company (Joel's son works for him). All of his workers were friendly, conscientious, and did little extras to show they care about what they do. I enjoyed the process and am enjoying the end result. I would hire Joel again and have referred him to several friends."

Those guys worked hard and I am confident they did the work right. All I needed. Installing a roof isn't rocket science. You just have to follow certain principles which these guys did."

"Alan was quickly responsive to my initial contact, and came out to assess and bid the job. Since we were under time constraints, and Alan could do the work we did not look for other bids. Alan’s crew came in and removed/disposed of the carpets in our large basement area, scraped off existing linoleum in another room, and scraped off wood floor glue on another area. They then did a grind on the concrete floor to expose the clean surface, stained it and applied 2 coats of poly sealer. All work was professional, Alan was great to work with (even allowed us to add an additional area to the job at the last minute), and the floor looks fabulous.
