"We were completely new to these multi-projects, but the experience was really great! Mr. Joe Stubenhofer came soon after our initial inquiry, and we walked him through our main dilemmas of an unsafe walkway & the backyard being too wet & bumpy for mowing. We found his laid- back personality yet his obvious knowledge to be a perfect fit for us! We wanted terracing for our walk & a small flower garden, other than that, Joe had free rein to make initial plans...and we were absolutely delighted with the design! While reviewing his design he sparked my interest & a couple visits to his nursery choice (Johnstons on Wales Rd) took place along with floral changes. Also based on our concerns, Joe suggested shifting our patio idea over & once things were spray painted out on the ground, we found his spot to be far better (By the way, his crew was awesome and walked us through width changes for the new path & patio.) With every question we had, Joe's team had answers, and we would TOTALLY hire them again!! They were knowledgeable with our questions, hard working, easy to get along with, listened to our concerns, & guided our changes. They added safety and a charm to our house that we didn't know it could have, and the drainage in the back is much improved & newly planted grass is growing! Hats off to you all!! (p.s.--It will look worse before it looks better. lol We were able to see paver color options with staff at our local Aftons prior to ordering. Keeping our project with local companies was important to us!) Have had wonderful compliments since completion, & we absolutely love it! ** B on rates (we wanted to use local, so really didn't look around...had an idea of potential costs with what a friend had done elsewhere) & responsiveness ( due to email stuff, calls were an A )."

"I would highly recommend this company to anyone.  They are always there as expected and always do an excellent job - I can honestly say they are always very courteous and we have never been disappointed.  The prices are very reasonable and the staff is always very helpful.  My parents love them.  As we are out of town, it is good to know that we can depend on them to do a great job every time.  We also used them once to paint the deck in the back of the house.  That was several years ago and it still looks great.   <br /> A+++ for this company.  Highly recommend. <br /> <br /> <br />"

"The initial contact/ meeting was positive and after discussion the work began in an acceptable time frame. We requested a blueprint/ sketch prior to beginning the project and received a rudamentary diagram. Proceeding in good faith, the project was to last 1 week from start to finish but with several delays it was completed in approx. 3 weeks. Delays ranged from weather related to an incorrect pattern. At various points during the project, conversations regarding the progress, unexpected changes, incorrect pattern, and the final product occurred. Many of our concerns and comments appeared to be dismissed as trivial and an inconvienence. As the project fell further behind schedule the quality of the work lessened. Several miss cuts were still used as part of the final projduct. Permanent marker lines were left on the block on the steps and on the patio pavers where cuts may need to be made. Even after the mistakes were pointed out, few if any steps were taken to correct them. To correct a safety concern regarding the steps from the home adding more block was suggested but we were told it would be at an additional cost because "we" changed the design. The project was completed and we paid the agreed balance with hesitation. It appeared that our concerns and needs as a consumer were not a priority.... getting to the next job seemed more important."

"<p>A+++ contractor: Honest, professional and pleasant.</p> <p>   We hired B. Davis Enterprises to complete a Breezeway and restore the cellar.  I had big plans for the cellar, but Mr. Davis crushed my dreams in that.  However, that was a good thing.  He could of done a few things and took away a few thousand dollars, but Brent gave me an honest evaluation that I would be throwing my money away if I touched the cellar.  Second, he could not in conscience do that job because it would have been a waste of money.  So we focused on the breezeway.  The final product came out beautiful and made a great small addition to our 19th century house.  He meticulously matched the paneling to the house and it looks great. Again totally honest and WILL NOT BUILD ANYTHING THAT VILATES CODE.  Yes, building to code may be a little more, but that may be the price to be honest.  </p> <p>    Brent also did a few small jobs at no cost to improve the beatification.  A great experience and we plan to use B. Davis Enterprises for our future upgrades. </p> <br />"

"I didn't use them because I just didn't have the money. He was very quick, returned my call within the same day and was at my house the following day. He was highly recommended from people who had used him previously. His price was probably one of the best."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Waterford, PA

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
