"I really enjoyed my experience with Trost Plastics.  <br /> I called them to come out and give me a quote on installing a fence.  They were able to come out and asked me what my vision was.  They were able to provide me with a complete brochure to show the options that I had available.  I was worried about getting a fence that my small dog could not escape through.  I also wanted something nice as it is a new construction home and I wanted everything to have a similar look and feel.  They were very eager help me and understand what I wanted.  They took in-depth measurements then gave me a quote that day.  They answered every question I had and even measured my dog to make sure she could not get through the slats.  They were the most reasonably priced and offered the best fence that I could find on the market.  <br />   <br /> The first time they came for installation they stepped on to the yard and informed me that the ground was too soft to install.  They marked for the fence and asked me if that was what I expected.  It was so they told me that I would stay at the top of the install list and the first day available they would come back out and install.  I did not have to worry that my fence would be skipped but I did call a couple of times to make sure they were coming back.  Each time I called the person on the phone was very helpful and make sure I knew they were still waiting for a good day for install.  <br />   <br /> Three weeks and two winter storms later they were back to install.  The men came to my door and asked one more time if the measurements were correct and got started.  I could see that they were digging into rock underground.  I could also tell they were dealing with clay dirt but they completed the whole job in one day and left my yard better than they found it.  They took to some of the excess dirt and filled in some low spots which was a huge help for me.  All of the other excess rock and dirt was taken away with them so I did not have to find something to do with it.  Again huge help!    I would not hesitate to ever call this company again for any of my fencing needs.  Everyone that I spoke to via phone or in person was professional and I truly felt like a valued customer.  My dog and I could not be happier with our new fennce. <br />"

"They came promptly for the estimate and returned when we had further questions. The came sooner than they had said they would to put in the fence, and finished the job in a day. There was a miscommunication about one component of the job and our estimator Tim and the boss Jim were out immediately with the crew to fix it up to our satisfaction. "I contacted them through their website, and they (wife) got back to me that same day with questions about the project.  We corresponded through email and phone calls regarding the project and what it entailed.  They (husband & wife) offered me choices and pricing before they even came out to see the yard.  I also got estimates from one other fencing company who came out and talked with me about all my options.  (They were great, too.) <br /> I went on vacation and told them when I'd be back.  While we were on vacation, we decided on the type of fence and the company we wanted to work with.  We chose to work with Houlihan because it's a family-run, small business with pricing similar to the bigger fencing company I talked to.  They called me a couple days after I got back and were able to start the next day!  (Our backyard utilities are all in the air, so they didn't have to wait on the utility marking company.)  And their plan was to have it done in one day. <br /> They sent 2-3 people in to do the job the first day - digging holes, setting poles in concrete, etc.  The team left shortly after 2pm, left all their stuff (& a bit of a mess), plus their trailer in my driveway.  The fence was not completed.  But the owner came back by 5pm, cleaned everything up, and took the trailer.  If I worked full-time, I wouldn't have known about the mess.  The crew came back the next day, and the fence was finished that day.  The owner came back to inspect everything and noticed a problem with the gate latch and a few minor things that we hadn't noticed.  He had a plan to have it fixed the following business day, and it was done early in the day. <br /> We love our new fence.  It keeps our small dog safely inside our yard.  The owner was great!  While he over-promised on timing, he's friendly and very thorough.  I am confident that the work was done thoughtfully at high standards.  I would use him and his company again. <br />"
