"The service provided by NOBLE Roofing was simply excellent! Nestor Chavez, the company's project coordinator, performed the service. He was on time, very pleasant and professional, and thorough. He prepared a list of everything that I would need to have done in the near future. He even suggested ways in which I could save money when completing the repairs. I was very pleasantly surprised to find an honest business, particularly in these tough times. I give NOBLE Roofing the highest recommendation!"

"Mr haas has worked with us on two houses since Nov, 2011. He was instrumental in helping us uncover all problems associated with 2 houses we purchased since then. He knows his stuff, and my roofing company has a great deal of respect for him, as he assists them in any area he can. He guided the process of fixing problem areas at our Virginia Beach house as well as our Richmond house."

"The job went wonderfully, guys were on time and cleaned up after themselves daily. They were there when they said they were going to be there, sales guy was very helpful with all of my questions I had. Would definitely recommend them for future work. Had one plastic cover broken on the window and they took care of it all. Replaced with new cover at no extra cost to me."

"I provided material and Stonebrook did roofing. They claimed platinum certified for owen corning. The crew came in and seem to be from another sub contractor. They did good work but took short cuts . No one was there to supervise. Like they cut ice and water shield and did not overlap. I am not sure if they are the best but certainly better than lot of local folks. Cost vs value - Six nails, timely and punctual, but took some short cuts during installation. Ridge cap was installed with nails opposite the wind direction. Not good. I called them and the crew will be here to fix. Sorry! I wish I could give A. <br />"

We are a locally owned business specializing in asphalt shingling that has been servicing the area for over 50 years. \n Our mission is to provide each customer with a quality roof and a stress free roofing experience from the initial call through the completion of the project and for many years thereafter. Attention to detail is key in our unforgiving weather conditions, if you are having issues with the life of your roof you may have a situation that requires knowledge beyond a standard reroof. Our staff can help you address issues such as insufficient intake/exhaust ventilation, insufficient insulation, roof deck structure, and more. Along with the underlying construction process, we strongly believe in the importance of selecting the right product for the job. There are many budget shingles that contractors can use to easily cut cost from the bid. It is our experience that the correct shingle can add years to the life of a roof and save many headaches along the way, which is why we are extremely selective on the shingles we install.

"The first unit was delivered in a timely manner. However, the carrier did not adhere to the shippers warnings about product fragility and the unit was received in a damaged state. The unit was sent back to Classic Copperworks for repair.  The repair was treated as a priority by Mr. Threadgill, who had the unit shipped back to me in three weeks. It arrived in good condition that time. <br /> Mr Threadgill was very helpful in providing support in order to finish our project. He even had a caulking product sent to us in order to help with flashing the unit. That meant alot. <br /> I am not a professional contractor, but was able to install the unit myself with his support. However, my profession does provide me the opportunity to serve the public and as such, I feel that I am more than qualified in commenting on good service. While Classic Copperworks may not be the cheapest provider of goods and services, they stand behind their product and provide great support. It requiress a "leap of faith" to order an expensive unit from an out-of-state provider with no prior mutual history, but I can attest to my complete satisfaction. <br /> WRS <br /> <br />"

FAQs for roofing installation & roof repair projects in Watertown, SD

An average Cape Cod roof-raising project requires approximately two to three months from start to finish. The timeline depends on several variables, including weather conditions, contractor availability, material delivery schedules, and the specific complexity of your home's structure. The process involves multiple phases, including demolition, framing, roofing, window installation, and interior finishing. Working with an experienced contractor who provides a detailed timeline can help set realistic expectations for the project duration.

While most Cape Cod homes can accommodate roof-raising modifications, each house requires individual structural assessment. Older homes may need foundation reinforcement or wall strengthening before supporting additional weight. Factors like the existing roof framing system, load-bearing wall placement, and overall structural integrity all influence feasibility. A qualified structural engineer should evaluate your specific property before proceeding with design plans. Additionally, local zoning ordinances may restrict maximum building height or architectural modifications in certain neighborhoods.

Temporary relocation is highly recommended during a Cape Cod roof raising project. The construction process involves removing portions of your existing roof, exposing interior spaces to potential weather damage, and creating significant noise and dust. Most homeowners find temporary accommodations for the two to three-month construction period, with relocation costs ranging from $2,000 to $6,000, depending on your housing choices. If staying with family or friends isn't possible, budget for short-term rental or extended-stay hotel expenses as part of your overall project cost.

Consider roof raising when you experience severely limited headroom throughout the second floor, find yourself constantly stooping under sloped ceilings, or have minimal usable floor space due to low ceiling heights. Other indicators include inadequate natural light, poor ventilation, and difficulty accommodating standard furniture in upstairs rooms. Simple renovations can improve an attic's appearance, but cannot create additional headroom without structural modifications. A complete roof-raising project makes more sense than cosmetic renovations if you're seeking genuine second-floor living space rather than just storage improvements.

Begin your search by seeking contractors with specific experience in Cape Cod structural modifications and dormer additions. Request detailed portfolios showing similar completed projects and ask for references from previous clients with comparable work. Verify that potential contractors hold appropriate licenses and insurance coverage and understand local building codes relevant to roof raising. Interview multiple candidates, comparing price quotes and their communication style, project approach, and proposed timeline. The ideal contractor should demonstrate a thorough understanding of Cape Cod architectural characteristics and structural requirements.
