"We needed the ceiling and walls of our 1800 sqft home painted. The results were outstanding, from quote to finish. The crew was very professional, pleasant and hard working completing the project as quoted and on time. Would definitely recommend Five Star Painting."

"Ramon and his crew did a fantastic job staining my deck and whitewashing the interior of my gazebo. In addition he pointed out other areas of the exterior of my home that needed attention which he also took care of. I plan on having Ramon come back to do some interior painting this fall after he completes his exterior jobs."

"Ivan and his team did an excellent job on painting the siding, trim and accent beams. In addition, they removed all lights and downspouts and put them back exactly as they were. Furthermore, despite an abundance of annuals, perennials, and bushes around the house, his team made a real effort not to disturb or break any of the plants. Very hard working and outstanding quality / value. Can’t say enough good things about Ivan and his team from MVO"

"Santiago Home Improvement, LLC recently painted the interior of my house and power washed the exterior. Since the house was empty, they were able to move quickly and efficiently, and the results were excellent. The paint job was clean and even throughout every room, and the power washing made the outside look fresh and renewed. The crew was professional, thorough, and respectful of the property. Everything was completed on time and with great attention to detail. I’m very satisfied with the work and would definitely recommend them for painting or exterior cleaning projects."

"NJN was absolutely wonderful to work with. I live 1000 miles from Milwaukee and purchased a condo that was in desperate need of fresh paint! Nick was able to meet with my sister and view the property and give a fair quote. His quote was significantly less than what the realtor had given me (more than 1/2 price) and competitive with others I received in the area. He completed the entire space (1200 sq. ft + ceilings) in just about 5 days. I did not move here until March 3rd and I was very pleased with his work. If you are looking for honest, fair, quality painting please contact Nick Niemczyk at NJN Printing - you will not be disappointed!"

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Waukesha, WI

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
