"We really appreciated the professionalism and thoroughness of the team. Our family had been discussing wanting to remove both palm trees in our years because they were getting tall and there was risk of them falling over on our home or our neighbors home in the future. Andres actually came to our home one day to ask us about it, which i thought was a really smart sales strategy. He was kind and shared all details with us to help us make the decision quickly to remove them. Communication from the beginning was great, the team showed up on time, and swiftly removed both trees. The team also ensured any parts of the trees were removed from our lawn when they were done. It’s not easy to remove really tall palm trees but the team meticulously setup the area and safely removed the trees together. They made it look easy! We will absolutely refer the ABS team to neighbors and friends and will call in the future if we need any help. Thank you guys!!"

"My yard could keep a tree company busy for weeks and we received lots of quotes (mainly drive by's) looking to cut our trees.  I called Mark Hawley Tree service on a suggestion of someone who saw his trucks working in his neighborhood.  Mike come out within a couple days and seemed great.  Most tree companies claim to be different and aren't just out to cut all your trees down & take you money, but Mike seems to know what he was talking about and wasn't going to inflate cost.  Having already talked to many tree services, they were lower than most and really stressed how they could get a lot down with crew of 6-8 if I paid them for half or full day.
Mike (who sold the business/equipment to Mark) provides the estimates for tree work but was never on site during the 5 days of work I had on my property or neighbor despite saying he would be.  Mike & Mark don't agree on scope/cost and Mark uses this to decrease level of work (cut less branches/trees/stumps) or charge you more money to get everything you thought you already agreed to for lower cost.  If you won't ante up more money, Mark is good at convincing people that tree should be cut less than agreed to because of health to tree, danger to workers, or potential issues with damage.   On the first job they charged me $300 more on $1300 job to complete items after arrival.  I wasnn't thrilled with extra money but they did an awesome job.  The team of 7 guys worked furiously to complete a lot of work in 5 hours.  Well worth the extra money.
On second job, I agreed to $100 extra to have them split work so I could be there for some of work.  They had planned to do all work on same day as larger neighbor job I referred but that date changed to one I could not make.  I would not agree to additional $150 to have them do large stump grinding previous agreed to, so we left that off.  I was not okay with them leaving off a couple trees on my driveway that just needed some branches cut from ground and this infuriated Mark.  He yelled & cursed that it was too much and told his team to get everything the F off my property.  Neighor & I had already payed him most of $2100 for job so he told me to shove the remaining money.  They were much slower on second job taking 3 days (1 full and 2 half) to complete little more than they did on my first engagement in 5 hours plus 1hr next day to cleanup.  I've heard him yell on phone and to his team, but he was previously cordial to me when explaining how he got into busines or tell me he was not going to do X or needed to charge more.  I'd already referred him to a couple people as his team does great work when not interferred with.
If you use this service, I suggest you be as detailed in quote as you can and maybe even take pictures with the branches marked that will be removed or how far cut.  And be okay with the scope, price posssible changing, and perhaps some verbal abuse.  It could help avoid issues.  Even with great worker, I had to watch them as they would cut corners or try to convince me I didn't want that much cut.  With all tree services, you really need to be over few hundred before it is worth time of big crew to work on and maybe more if they aren't close (Mark was not close).   Engagement for crew of 6-8 guys with 2-3 climbers/cutters and bucket, mulcher, grinder and bobcat is the best if you have that much work.  If you just a have some small trees I would check with landscaper first unless tree service close.
The service was not good about communicating when they would show up and when they would stop working.  This made it challenging to be onsite and I strongly recommending being onsite.
I'm sorry I referred Mark's service to neighbor and/or tried to get a couple hours work added to his 3/4 day scope.  It seemed like a win win for all but turned out bad.  I was left with branches to cut and cleanup work they did not finish.  I had planned on calling them yearly to do day of tree work and referring them to lots of neighbors/friends with trees.

"I would love to give Steve and his company an A rating because he was very nice, however, I have to be honest and thourough in my review. They did a lot of things right like returning calls and politeness, but they re-scheduled twice (in all fairness, another customer in the area cancelled so they re-scheduled ours too). One time an entire day went by before he called to re-schedule. Then, once hired for the job, the employee did not show so Steve came himself to pressure wash which we appreciated. The painter worked hard, but did get a lot of paint on our pool grout and several large drips in the pool that required special chemicals to remove it. Overall, the job was well done, but I feel it was their job to do the clean up of the drips and paint in the pool. Also, be aware they require 50% up front which we were not made aware of in advance. Steve did allow us to pay less up front and give them the remainder at the end of the second day. The only problem with that was we could not walk on the lanai to inspect the job and once we saw all the clean up we were left with, we had already paid the remaining balance and did not hear back from Steve after that. Next time, I would hold some of the money back until I was 100% satisfied."

FAQs for tree service projects in Webster, FL

Professionals remove shrubs by first cutting back the branches using tools like pruning shears or chainsaws for thicker stems. They then cut the base close to the ground and dig around the root system to remove the roots completely, preventing regrowth. Finally, they’ll ensure proper disposal of branches and debris while complying with local regulations.

A bush stump will regrow if any portion of its root system remains. When even a small section of roots is left behind, new shoots emerge and regenerate the bush with leggy, spreading growth. Working with a professional landscaper ensures the complete removal of the stump and all roots, which is essential to prevent any regrowth, ensuring that the area remains clear and maintenance is minimized.
