"We recently expanded a deck, added a patio cover, and are putting a hot tub underneath this second floor deck. There was a concrete patio below the existing deck and we wanted to match that, w/ reinforcement for a hot tub. We got a couple bids for the job. Danny was the estimator that came out for Forest and he seemed knowledgeable and was punctual and professional. It was not the cheapest bid, but the company is much more well established than a couple others we consulted so I put more trust in their work. Rigo is the guy we needed to work with on scheduling etc. for concrete work. This was a little rocky at first, but that had a lot to do with us needing to postpone the start till our deck was done, but then also work around a vacation we'd be taking, and make sure the concrete had enough time to cure before our hot tub is dropped. Despite a slight language barrier, we worked it out and even managed to get it done ahead of when we originally scheduled it. Punctuality is impressive with these guys. For 3 days they were waiting outside our house to start at 7:30am precisely. They had to remove a portion of fence and work around some foliage for access. They ended up encountering an unexpected drainage tube of some kind while digging and made sure to create an access point for us if it's ever needed in the future. The concrete looks great and matches our old patio so well, it's hard to tell they weren't poured together. Danny and I (and later Rigo) discussed treating the old concrete to help the matching. At the end of the work they did a great job of cleaning up the area and returning everything to normal. Rigo also helped us by showing us how to remove the fence portion for when our hot tub is delivered and left the top cap off because he said we'd really struggle to get it off if they put it back. I'm happy with the work, communication, and cleanup and trust if there are any problems I will be able to get them resolved. If we have further landscape needs in the future I will def be calling Forest for a bid."

"Bret was excellent in his promptness to our requests and follow up. During his initial visit, he listened to our needs and ideas and immediately showed us basically what he would do, where and why. We reviewed photos and discussed many options and he put together a simple and complete bid which was updated and presented to us whenever there was a change. He accommodated every request transparently, asking for approval prior. We now have a much larger patio due to his design using some previously unused area in which was installed a gorgeous sitting wall around a custom natural gas fire pit. Additionally, Bret has some excellent landscaping ideas and taste and incorporates just enough lighting to enhance everything. His workmen are highly skilled, very friendly, attentive, disciplined and cleaned up every day. Whenever I asked questions they gave me good answers. "First appointment we had some confusion but second appointment was prompt and efficient and on a Saturday so we could bo be present.  Gave us the price immediately, added more to his services as we walked the yard.  Called us Monday and schedule for Tuesday.  The workers came and completed all the work in one day.  Two items were missed and they were very willing to come back out and complete those items before payment.  It is nice to have an office person who can take calls and share messages back and forth.  It is understandable that landscaping personnel cannot be reached immediately so having someone to talk to provides excellent customer focus and service.

"Mariano came and gave us a bid within a day of our initial phone call. He and his crew came a week later to perform the work. There was a delay because of the heavy rains, but once they got here, they were all business. The old sod was removed and all the weeds removed by hand, rather than with weed killer, in the first day. The second day they laid the sod and did clean up and trimming. They would have been done in two days, except we asked them to do the rock work, so they came back two days later and completed that job in a couple hours. He will also be providing three months maintenance work twice a month, that includes mowing, fertilizing, weed removal and edging and clean up. This is all included in the above cost. We plan to keep the maintenance work going after the contracted period. Everything looks wonderful, and his prices are more than fair."
