"The repair was to the property front steps (brick/cement/stone). The job was done at a very reasonable price, in the manner that was explained to me and it was done in a timely manner. Jim kept me informed all the way through the project as to what was going on, and his team came when they said they would come, they did the work professionally, and they cleaned up afterwards. They were great to work with, and there were absolutely no problems. I would certainly hire them again to do any of the same type of work in the future. 5 stars for these guys!!"

"Two brick steps approximately 9 feet long, 12 inches deep needed to be repaired. All the mortar was falling apart and the bricks were falling out. Initial quote was $750. This was to remove bricks from steps, clean mortar, and reappoint bricks and mortar. Mutual decision day of job was to put blue stone steps instead which added $440 (four 5 foot blue stone treads--apparently $22 per linear foot, plus $30 "transport" fee) in materials to job- (which i thought was rather high after seeing that blue stone sold by the linear foot is roughly $15). My rational was 4 pieces of blue stone would take less labor and less time? Then I thought ok, original $750 quote plus material ($470) was $1,220. Wrong, job (for two steps mind you) was ultimately $1,600. Which, I think is a lot of money for 2 steps. Steps look very nice, however, i felt overpriced"

"I hired George to restore the crumbling cement and loosened stones around the corners and sides of the foundation of my triple decker in Boston. "08-AUG-2025 Issues began immediately after hiring Pro Foundation & Masonry. During the estimate, I told Foreman Bobby there was no mortar in the cinder blocks. He gave a quote that I believed included proper mortar. On Aug-12-2025, I raised the issue again?he said he was ?focused on the damaged area.? When digging, a missing footing section was found, and Bobby quoted $22,500, which I thought was too high. Though he fixed some cracks, major ones in the cellar were ignored. They used the wrong mortar (not S mortar as discussed) and left sloppy drippings inside the wall. I sent photos on Aug-23; Bobby replied on Aug-25 saying the floor was dirt. Promised cleanup on Aug-30 never happened. I followed up repeatedly?no one came. They even left a dangerous cinder remnant that I tripped on. A section of wall was filled with concrete instead of block?looks unprofessional. They say one thing, do another. I?m very unhappy with their work and service. They're gonna fix the two crack on my fieldstone foundation. The manager Rey came and he felt really bad that the foreman left in this way they left it. He was really pretty readsonable."

He came to my home the next day to assess the work that needed to be done (repairing lots of cracks in my stone retaining wall) and was able to do the work within a few days. He and his workers did a great job, and IMO provided great value. Barry is very knowledgeable, having been in the business for around 30 years. Iâ d definitely hire Barry and his crew again."
