I have clay soil and no one from the company discussed with me how to adjust the composition of the soil for better grass growth."

"Tru Green has been great. They never missed any application, always call and schedule you to let you know you don't have to be there but they call and let you know when they are going to be there. They leave you information if they noticed something about the trees, because I have our trees and lawn done so they noticed that something's growing or trees not looking to help you or something. They give you notification that you need to notice this from the last time. I would use them again in the future."

"Total Landscapes seemed very knowledgeable and professional, however they were very unresponsive after the visit. It took nearly 2 weeks to get the estimate after they promised it within a few days. Multiple messages and emails were left unanswered. When the estimate was finally received, it included very few details and did not reflect what we discussed. When I attempted to clarify or expand upon the estimate, they were not very responsive or helpful. I have not used their services yet; I only worked an estimate with them. <br />"

"David and amp; his crew came out to my mother and amp; father-in-laws house as expected and did all of the yard work, removed 3 trees that were taken down and cleaned everything from top to bottom. Uses eco-friendly bio-degradable diatomaceous earth at my request, to keep outside ants from coming in. Also treats some windows with traditional sprays to keep away spiders. Leaves boxes to treat rodents with bio-degradable poison. Office does scheduling and is very responsive."

Essentially, we supervised the crew.  There was very little supervision by the company's management.  The work crew was great. Why pay a thrid party to load, haul, and manually apply, when you can get such reasonably priced service (with sufficient minimum order). I DO have an above average sized yard (1.3 acres) with numerous beds. </p> One competitor quoted roughly 4x this price for same work. <br /> Will return to Waltrip again when needed. You need large scale to make it economical (or perhaps neighbors can go in together). <br />"
