"Roof snow removal - by shoveling. Leo, crew leader, was very good at discussing the expected duration relative to $$ cost to me. Asked me about "things on the ground" they needed to be careful of when shovelng snow off the roof. We did discuss what to do with the huge piles of heavy wet snow now on the ground in certain areas (like by front door). I decided not to pay to have MN 1st choice move that snow and do it myself. HARD, long work. I was fortunate to have a neighbor with a tractor and a front plow come over. We shoveled and plowed to move the snow far from where it could cause water damage as it melted."

         I have left calls with a Mike Lacina, who I believe is the son...He did return calls.Also, I did get them out here on  2 seperate
occassions, to bend back the "cover" on the highest part of roof,which is 2nd floor of house...
   Also google "scam informer" and u will see well written article from another displeased customer
     they only care about selling product and are very difficult to get warranty work...My last conversation was with Matt, who was
very stand-offish.....I asked him what was his capacity with Lacina...He said I don't have to tell you....He is the PRESIDENT"

"Great! We love our wall and we loved having Tom and Nick working here. They were committed to getting the work done in a timely manner, all while never giving up quality. You can tell they both really know what they're doing.
 
In one day, they had the railroad ties out! They did careful work so as to minimize damage to our lawn and our neighbor's lawn. 
They had some great recommendations regarding straightening our wall and improving the overall look of the finished product. 
Very easy to work with and responsive when anything changed (even the small things). Since I'm not well versed in landscaping, hardscaping or retaining walls, it was nice to have someone walk me through the process, beginning to end. 
All in all, we met with several top rated landscapers found on Angie's List, and ACT was by far the best overall. Their prices, quality of work and materials used can't be beat. Trust me, I've looked around. 
Would love to use them for another project in the future, but I know it won't be the retaining wall, which is here to stay!!

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."

"The job went well and Josh (owner) was very responsive to what and how I wanted the work done. The contractor wanted to make sure I was satisfied with the job. The roof looks great and I have no outstanding issues. Cost was below other bids. I would use again!
