"We hired then to do a fairly involved renovation of our kitchen. Working with Lina and her team was a joy. She helped us to define and then refine the vision were trying to create in our new kitchen. The Scope of work included removing the existing countertop and backsplash. From there they removed and replaced the cabinet doors. After an amazingly through prep process, they painted the cabinets better then new. They installed all new Quartz countertops, along with an incredible backsplash. To complete the project they installed the new appliances and under mount sink. The quality of their work was excellent. They showed up on time and worked long days to insure the project moved forward in a timely manner. Any issues that arose were dealt with in a professional and timely manner as well. I recommend Pdx Custom Woodwork very highly and will use them again on future projects."

"I called a few companies to come and look at the floors and provide options and estimates. Eugene came right on time and was able to provide an estimate and what can be done and what cannot on the floor. I felt the quote was right and hired him. They came and did the work as promised. We were unsure of oil vs water based polymer quote. They worked with us to put both of them on a small area so we can see the difference and pick the right one for us. Eugene was patient and understanding of the time we took to make the choices. He walked us through the home after the work was done and adjusted couple of small things as we liked. "We put off remodeling our severely outdated kitchen for over a decade, because we couldn't find a company we wanted to work with. IKEA, Lowes, Home Depot associates were all disinterested, and not informative. Private contractors we met were not reliable, even in the planning stage. When I contacted PNWC, Peter Schraner, the owner, returned my call within hours, and they have been the answer to questions we didn't even know enough to ask. I can't praise this company, enough. Haley designed our new kitchen with artistry and attention to how we actually use our kitchen. She was kind, thorough, and endlessly patient. Peter was on top of every detail - when we picked out appliances and countertops, he or Haley went with us, to answer questions and guide us. At the beginning of the work, we got a schedule listing the plan for each day, and they stuck to the schedule. The entire final week was labeled "touch-ups", and they finished 3 days early. Peter e-mailed me a progress report and photos every day. Mike supervised the work, and we trusted him completely. You could ask him anything - again with the endless patience. At one point, a new door to the deck had to be removed overnight to be painted. Cesar created a temporary door that was nicer then the original one that was being replaced. Every PNWC crew member did stunning work, and the attention to detail blew us away. At night, they left the work site immaculate. My husband and I stood in the kitchen each evening and marveled at how it came along. The finished kitchen is stunning, modern, and beautifully constructed. "Charles and team are amazing! This is the second time we've worked with him, and he didn't disappoint. We needed to do a major renovation of our kitchen to accommodate family members with disabilities. We had fairly specific design requirements, which involved raising the ceiling, adding structural support to one wall to create an archway, and adding another wall to allow for more cabinet space. After signing the contract with Charles, we realized we also needed to have our entire plumbing infrastructure replaced because of rusty pipes. We scheduled the plumbing work to happen before the kitchen project began so it wouldn't be an issue with the new appliances. The plumbing work left us with holes in the drywall in several rooms, plus a bathroom that needed to be gutted and rebuilt. Charles was amenable to adding the bathroom remodel to the kitchen contract--and we were amazed at how he was able to fit all of the additional bathroom work into the original kitchen schedule. Work finished on the exact date he'd targeted. He was also very accommodating of us in several other instances where we basically grew the scope of the project as it progressed. We are thrilled with the results and are planning to have him do a couple of smaller projects once we get our kitchen unpacked. Charles has two major strengths as a contractor that have made us want to hire him multiple times. The first is that he is an excellent craftsman. He is able to think through complicated designs and then execute them impeccably. The second is that he stays on top of every detail of the project and runs it like clockwork. Once work starts, he doesn't stop until it's done. His subs clearly value working with him; they show up exactly when they are supposed to and keep at it in order to finish in time for the next phase of work. Even when Charles isn't on-site while subs are working, he knows the exact status of their progress and keeps things moving until everything is finished. Charles is often booked out several months, but he is worth the wait!"

We have used Bernard Painting four times in 25 years and they never disappoint us.   They showed up on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. and started calking and covering windows, etc.   By the end of the first day they had painted nearly 2/3 of the house.   The second day they finished the exterior, did all the trim work including the sanding and staining of the ceiling of our front porch area.  

Their team is very professional, extremely conscientious and take great pride in their work.   They look at their work as if it were a fine painting and want to be sure each stroke is perfect.  

By the time they left on the second day, the house looked perfect and someone driving by would never know they had just finished painting.  Everything was in place as they found it.

"Ethereal Elements provided exceptional, professional and quality work repairing my basement wall leak. Dealing with Q was very easy, he is personable and to the point. Dale, who performed the work knew exactly what he was doing, he was quality oriented from start to finish. The work was completed on 4 October, I held off writing this feedback in hopes we would have a couple of extreme downpours so I could verify the basement would not leak. Q guaranteed the basement would not leak again, or they would come out and fix it. The cost of this job was reasonable and I was able to use the discount coupon. I would hire Ethereal Elements again."
