"We reached out and were able to coordinate Francisco coming out for a quote. Got a quote that day. We decided to move forward a few days later and they started that week. The process was very quick and easy. Francisco made sure to ask about colors and finish that we wanted, and listened to all of the details we specified originally (like rounded edges). "So like a number of other house, we had sinking front concrete steps. Our sizable front stairs had sunk about 6 inches and pull the attached walk with it. It got to the point we just had to have them replaced. I checked out various options for having them mud-jacked, but my concern was that that would not really fix the issue for the long term and they would just end up sinking again. After getting several bids we went with Tavis at Quality Concrete and Masonry. They weren't the cheapest bid but seemed the most trustworthy and had the best plan to make sure the problem did not re-occur. Tavis started on a Tuesday and was essentially work complete by Saturday. His work was very high quality. Because of the site, amount of concrete, etc. he used 1.5" rebar instead of the standard 0.5" rebar to tie the steps to the house. ( I've never even seen 1.5" rebar before.) Site was left clean each day and the final product exceeded our expectations."

"We were quoted a price of $195 to re-install our existing mailbox on a new post that would look as much like our neighbors' as possible, and we double-checked to be sure that this price included all labor, parts, etc before proceeding. The mailbox was instead mounted on a much thicker, stronger post and we were charged $250. We don't dispute the quality of the work, which looks good (it is all 4x6 whereas everyone else on the block has 4x4). But we wish we had been consulted beforehand about the change in plans and the extra expense."
