Some builders we have had in the past just make their own decisions and go on. Matt was great because he would come and involve us in the decisions so we had a say-so in the overall look. He even made a few adjustments for us to accommodate some of our "old people" needs, and he would give us time to think about what we wanted; no on-the-spot decision-making! Consequently, we are happy with every aspect of the deck, with no buyers' remorse here! "The opening is so wide (19.5 feet) we were concerned about what type of gate it would take to fit in that area. Their salesman came out and discussed options that would not cost us an enormous amount of money. They ended up putting double-posts on each side and then they could put in two 9 foot gates to fill the remaining opening. The installers came when we were told they would. They set the posts and then told us that it would probably take 10 days to have the gates ready. They were back in 10 business days and did a very professional job installing the gates. The gates only came with one drop-rod, but, the installer said on a gate that big there was no way he was going to only put one drop rod in. He installed it with two drop-rods to prevent them from having to come back and do warranty work."
