"I had water leaking into a dining room from ice dams on the roof and I was out of town on business.  I called three different outfits I found on Angie's and Swistun was the first to answer the phone.  Initially they didn't think they could get to the job until the following day.  But, after agreeing to have them do the work for the following day, they called back about an hour later and were able to get a crew to my house within about two hours of my initial call.  Very prompt and very appreciated considering the potential water damage I was faced with.  Swistun is not cheap - I took a deep breath when I saw the final bill.  To be fair though, they were completely up front about the pricing when I called looking for help so the final bill was not a complete surprise.  They charged $180 for the first 30 minutes and $3/minute after that.  My entire job was about 1 1/2 hours.  Even at the price it was money well spent to prevent damage I would have spent even more to have repaired had the leakage continued.  Overall - good job. <br />"

"This is the second time I have used Lake Point roofing, and again I am very happy with the entire process. Derek came out and helped me understand better my attic's need for ventilation after another company had tried to sell me much more than I needed. I had not expected to go with a solar fan, which costs more than an electric one, bit he explained that it would save on electricity, was eligible for a tax credit, and was much quieter--which means a lot since it is just above a bedroom. I greatly appreciate the way he took the time to evaluate and explain my house's individual needs, and actually warned me away from doing work I didn't need. The work itself was well done, and I know from past experience that if I ever have a problem they will be right back to resolve it. The fan is already making a big difference in the temperature upstairs. Even with excellent insulation, I always needed to keep the house colder than necessary downstairs to keep the 2nd floor from being too hot. Now the temperature is even throughout the house. I would recommend Lake Point Roofing to anyone and I will turn to them again when it is time to replace the roof. <br />"

We are highly impressed with Hills Roofing in Woodridge, and would rank their crews and work with the highest "yes" rating! We live in Downers Grove, IL. Everything they do is very professional. Their crew workers and job bidder Kevin are highly professional, knowledgeable, organized and efficient. Kevin Hultsch bent over backward to get us a quote and then update the quote for us a year or more later. They have done various repairs for us over the years, always professional and organized. Kevin goes up to roof with his iPad and takes photos to show you when he comes down off the ladder, so that homeowner can see and understand what's going on. We finally bit the bullet last week and had them replace our 24-year old roof and skylights. We are so very pleased with Hills! The crew is highly professional, experienced, knowledgeable and organized and personable. They stay on task, are hardworking, diligent, and efficient! Hills has a helper for the roofing crew, the helper runs around clearing up the old shingles off ground and getting them in dumpster, bringing shingles or plywood up ladder to the roofers on the roof, cleaning up the site constantly. He even used a nail magnet "vacuum," like device to clean up all the nails in our yard each day before they left. The group of them together, two guys on roof and one worker on the ground, were like a well-oiled efficient machine. They were diligence, focused and hard working The workers are personable and knowledgeable. We absolutely 100% recommend Hills Roofing, and their crew of Roman, Luca, and Philipe, the site supervisor Jeri, and their estimator and customer service man Kevin Hultsch. Fantastic all around. In years paste, we have used them for years to shovel snow off the roof (prevent ice dams and leaking) and for any repaors we had.. Fantastic!"

"I wasn't sure what to list as a price as we've used David Lancaster's AAA Better Roof a few times over the years although our most recent contact had no charges.  So I listed a rough total of all that we've spent with his company. <br> <br>The first was when we had our Cedar Shake roof replaced in 2000 or 2001 (about $9,000 for the job).  The second was in 2013 when there were a few repairs and some other work done (about $2,500 for the job).  Most recently he came out to inspect for damage as I was concerned that a recent hail storm might have caused damage.  On the most recent job he showed my exactly what the hail did in pictures and why no replacement was needed at this time.  He noticed a couple shingles missing (normal with this type of roof over time) and made some minor replacements at no charge. <br> <br>I wasn't a member of Angie's list when the past work was done, but I am now and his most recent vist reminded me of how pleased I've been with his work including the promptness of his responses, how informative his estimates have been (photos to clearly show exact issues), and the quality of his work.  <br> <br>I would recommend AAA Roofing and would use them again for future roofing needs. <br> <br> <br>"
