"I got 3 quotes for a small leak in my roof. Jan at Exterior Home Experts was the most expensive BUT heâ  s the only one who actually went up onto the roof to look for the cause of the leak and identified several other areas up there that had the beginnings of the same problem. He showed me photos of what was going on up there and quoted me to fix all of them (including replacement of any plywood if necessary once he pulled the shingles off). His quote was double the other quotes I received but because heâ  s the only one who was basing the quote on the actual damage he saw AND it included multiple repairs rather than just the one spot it seemed like a better deal. Another thing that gave me a good feeling about this company is he didnâ  t try to sell me a new roof. My roof is older and is probably nearing the end of its life and he couldâ  ve tried to upsell a replacement. Instead he told me that with the minor repairs done the roof should last 3-4 more years. He did the job on my schedule within a week, cleaned everything up and sent me before, during and after photos. Iâ  ll definitely be calling Exterior Home Experts when itâ  s time for a new roof!"

"Simply put, you will NOT find a better, more honest, more helpful, more easy-to-work-with, reasonably priced contractor than John Lee and his crew at J & K Home Improvement & Restoration! We had a "complicated" set of circumstances when our home was damaged by a storm, last winter. The insurance company sent out an estimator to assess the damage and, after the company recommended J & K Home Improvement & Restoration, I was introduced to John Lee. I eventually learned that John also does estimates for a variety of insurance companies (because his company is so well regarded), and he patiently listened as I described the nuances associated with our house. During our initial consultation, he was able to clearly describe all of the steps that would be necessary and answer all of our questions. Long story short, not only was John able to address EVERY single concern and request that we had regarding the eventual repairs to the house (including roof, siding, and a window upgrade that would have cost much more if we had done it at a later time), but he spent plenty of extra time making sure that everything we had talked about was addressed to our 100% satisfaction! He was also able to persuade the insurance company to cover more complete repairs than was originally specified by the first adjuster! In addition, when we had an electrical "hiccup" associated with all the pounding on the walls, John quickly sent an expert electrician to locate and correct the problem. He absolutely could have passed those charges on to us because the failure wasn't due to any mistake on the part of his crew but, instead, he picked up the unanticipated expense himself. It was truly a pleasure to work with John! He made a difficult situation as easy to manage as possible, and we would strongly recommend J & K Home Improvement & Restoration to anyone who wants to hire a quality contractor that stands behind their work and well-earned reputation!"
