"All Affordable Plumbing was great to work with. They address my primary issue which was an issue with the plumbing in the basement. Secondly, I had mentioned to them that I will be doing a kitchen remodel project in the near future and that I will need to have the drain relocated. What they did was stage the area in prepapration for that project, so that there will be minimal work for when I start that project and have the sink in the new location. Lastly, they were very organized and professional with their work. Also, they left the area cleaner than what I presented to them"

"I had a slow leak/dripping valve and the main shutoff valve was original and in need of replacement as it was very old and I was afraid of breaking off the handle or it failing when needed. There was also a corroded section of galvanized pipe coming directly out of the old valve so I was worried about it potentially failing at an especially inconvenient time and being unprepared for future emergencies.
Charlie and his assistant showed up as scheduled for their appointment and completed the replacement with an improved configuration. 
Charlie offered some extra observations and pieces of information and advice not all directly related to the job and answered all my questions about the plumbing work.

"Mattco has been performing repairs and regular plumbing maintenance at my 116 year old Chicago 2-flat for many years. Over time with experience I have gained trust in Mattco Plumbing to get me out of big jams with the plumbing in this old building. Just recently Matt repaired the 2nd floor toilet drain line in the ceiling above my 1st floor bathroom in a very tight spot. "Did a fine job. Very responsive and could have had someone out the same day. Our project was no emergency, so they came the next day. Arrived during the specified 2 hour time window. Took about 3 hours to remove the broken spigot, go to buy a new one and install. Also recommended an upgrade of a water shut off valve that will be a nice addition to prevent future freezing. Only downside is that the overall price was a little high. Upfront by the job pricing is nice if things get complicated, but you end up paying a little more than you should for simple jobs especially when they have to cover costs of getting leads through Angi. Overall, very happy with their work. The guys were friendly and helped me understand a little about how the work was being completed."

"I agreed with their assessment and ordered a new Bradford White 75 gallon water heater. This is a power vent type heater with PVC exhaust vented to the outside. Two plumbers (and a part-time helper for moving the old and new heavy tanks) installed it the next day and did an excellent job. The plumbing is all "plumb" and properly done."

"I would highly recommend Four Seasons! I recently scheduled duct and furnace cleaning. The technician quickly identified an issue that necessitated purchasing a new furnace. I opted to also upgrade my AC at a bundle rate since it was over 25 years old.
