"Excellent in all regards.  Brent McCurdy is very direct and honest in his approach.  He has a backlog but you just book and he'll call when you are next in line.  And then you have their full attention to your job and only your job.  You pay them at the end of each week for multi-week jobs.  They show up as promised, and stay through until the job is done.  Quality very high.  Good worker team. He knows who we should call for aspects of the job done outside (glass for shower, counter-top, commercial cabinets) and where to go for quality supplies (tiles, commercial plumbing supply).  They really know what they are doing. <br /> I am not quoting the cost of service, as it depends so much on individual aspects of each job.  We think his quote was fair, and while the work extended longer than planned, it was for totally good reasons. <br />"

"It went terrible. There were weeks at a time when he wouldn't show up. The cabinets designs were not even the same. The guys that put the cabinets on put them on upside down.they painted all of the heat and air registers instead of taking them down. Now dust sticks to hem and are hard to clean. The painters were just netrotuous. Some of the painters had come in and crawled through the window to get in when we were not at home one day. We had to run them off because they were standing around just partying.it just goes on and on with so many mistakes. Several of the drawers didn't have screws in them and when we pulledvon the handle, the handle came off. A few didn't even have the handles.like I said there are a lot of trivial things that is not worth my time listing because I could go all night with this. <br />"

"The overall experience was great. The pricing was unbelievable and the quality unmatched. Everything went very quickly. From start to finish, the entire process took under 2 weeks (that includes initial call, template and installation). They were a bit late coming for the installation, but had the entire job done in about 2 and a half hours, which fit our schedule to a tee. So, in the end, the tardiness was no big deal at all because they got it done in plenty of time, and we are BEYOND satisfied with the work and the product."

"Chris and his son did an excellent job with our Hartwell lakehouse! They painted almost the entire house and were both thorough and painstaking in their work. They were professional, timely and easy to work with. It was so nice to hire one person who could do so many different tasks, including painting, tiling, carpentry and light electrical. Will definitely hire them again!"

"<p>Was originally quoted over a year ago, but never had the work done.  When I called again, the price was increased slightly from the original due to higher costs now for supplies.  It was handled over the phone without me having to take time off from work again to meet them at the house.  I did get two more quotes this time; one was almost double this price and the other was a couple hundred more from someone who did this "on the side."  </p> <p>Four men showed up when expected and knocked it out in one day.  I believe they were there from 8:30 am - 7:00 pm.  I actually hardly knew they were there other than seeing them.  Very polite, confirmed what was going to be done, hung plastic over cabinets in kitchen and furniture, and did a fantastic job!  The ceiling in the living room had some water damage to the drywall, which was repaired prior to painting and is barely detectable now (only because I know where it was).  There isn't anything I need them to come back for because it was missed or I wasn't happy.  They cleaned everything up before they left and made sure we were satisfied.</p> <p>I would definitely recommend this group or use them again if need be.</p> <br />"

FAQs for cabinets reface projects in White-plains, GA

Absolutely. Refacing returns 65% to 80% of your investment at resale, and you get an updated kitchen right now. Because you’re not paying for new boxes or demo work, the price lands well below complete replacement but still delivers a fresh, custom look that buyers—and you—notice every time you walk in.

To trim costs, start by pricing a high-quality paint or gel stain instead of full refacing—stain alone can be one-third the price of full refacing. Keep existing hinges and pulls if they’re in good shape, and shop sales for sandpaper, primer, and sealer. The sweat equity is real, but so are the savings, and a careful DIY job can still leave your cabinets looking sharp for years to come.

A professional crew needs only three to five days to reface a standard kitchen, although a larger layout or intricate door style may add one to two days. Compare that with the several weeks a full cabinet swap can drag on. In other words, you get your space back fast, often before the paint on the new doors is even fully cured.

Yes, you can replace just the cabinet doors and drawer fronts without covering the cabinet boxes. Cabinet refacing involves installing new doors and drawer fronts while applying veneers to existing cabinet boxes. If you’re satisfied with the condition of your cabinets, swapping doors and drawer fronts reduces labor and materials, saving you time and cost. Always consult a professional to confirm compatibility and ensure a seamless, high-quality finish.

Most cabinet refacing projects do not require removing countertops because professionals can access doors and drawers around existing surfaces. However, if your countertop overhang prevents full access to the cabinet boxes, contractors may need to lift the countertop to install veneers properly temporarily. Discuss this with your refacing specialist during the on-site estimate so you know exactly what the project entails.
