"I am happy with the quality of the work. It looks like what I was expecting. The price was excellent, they saved me a LOT of money compared to Bone Dry Masonry. Seemed to do things the right way instead of just doing it the fastest way. They also did a good job of cleaning up for a "broom clean" finish at the end. Bob and Linda were nice to deal with. Unfortunately, I signed the contract at the end of September 2020 and it was just completed the first week of April 2021. I would've liked to give them 5 stars but simply can't because of the unacceptable delay and poor communication on project status. The initial delay may have been related to their limestone supplier, but still, they should've done a better job keeping me updated. I was extremely patient because the backyard wasn't being used in the winter time, but had to be pretty firm that the project must be completed before I hired someone else. I would hire them again for something like an outdoor living space or outdoor fireplace made with brick or stone. I don't think I would hire them again for something critical and time-sensitive."

"My chimney was leaking rain into the house around the fireplace. Gary Smalling took care in assessing the problem, even going up into the attic above the fireplace to assess the damage. He and his crew built a new crown for the chimney, replaced bad bricks, filled in mortar and sealed the entire chimney. I had several concerns and he resolved them completely. Gary has a tremendous customer service attitude. I heartily recommend him without reservations. He is a real professional."

"Snafu in scheduling resulting in taking two days off and the 2nd day was almost cancelled. I only found out about the cancellation when I called because no one showed up. Had I not called they would not have come, even though there was a scheduled appointment. Service recovery resulted in a technician coming out a few hours later. The technician was polite, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I hesitate to use this company again because of difficulty scheduling. I lost money taking two days off to get the chimney serviced."

"Matt and his team do good work and are knowledgeable when it comes to all things chimney and fireplace related. Matt really helped me out by finding a major design/work that another remodeling company did at my house. If he didn't see what they did, it could have resulted in a possible fire if I used my fireplace the way they left things. I really appreciate all they did and the work they performed."
