Customers say: Quick response

"Post Construction owner, Michael Post, and his crew did a FANTASTIC job on my Timbertech deck, landing, and stairs. They arrived on time (when they said they would be there) and worked every day until the deck was complete. They kept the job site clean every day. Post Construction is a very professional, punctual, and organized company. I will not hesitate to use (him) them again for any future projects I have. GREAT JOB MICHAEL and THANK YOU AGAIN!"

"I contacted the company on Thursday 4/22 and told them I need to replace an existing ceiling fan with a new one and to remount two fans that had slipped down from the ceiling about 2 inches. They quoted me $150 over the phone. I scheduled the service for Wednesday 4/27 at 9am. The technician came out about 8:55am on Wednesday. He performed the work, it did take him a while about 4 hours. Orlando the technician was very professional and thorough. One of the fans that needed to be remounted would not lay flush against the ceiling and Orlando went into the attic to see if he could figure it out. The bracket that was there was a little bent but I didn't want to spend anymore money to replace it. He was able to make it as secure as possible. If they realized the job was going to take longer than they anticipated I probably would have been charged more, but I wasn't. I will definitely use this company again in the future. I highly recommend their services and will definitely request Orlando for any future work."

"It was pretty extensive work. The experience was awesome. We have referred him over and over and over. Everybody that we have referred him to have been extremely happy. We would use him again or refer him to anyone. Mike, the owner, actually did the majority of the work. If he didn't, he contracted it but it was actually somebody who worked under him. The detail was high. It was perfect work and they didn't cut corners. They were also economical and they helped us to save money by doing things that other companies probably wouldn't have done because it would have taken more time and energy. Everything was awesome. They are a smaller company and weren't always able to get back to us as quickly. We would absolutely use them again."

"This was too big a job to let inexperienced folks on, so I shopped around quite a bit, and went with Spartan based on their reputation, and I wasn't disappointed. The foreman Allen and his crew did an outstanding job with the lift, and were aware of my concerns with the new window above the garage. The lift only had to go up about 3/4" in one corner, but because this house is a wonky split level, it solved 4 problem areas at once. The care and patience with the job exceeded all expectations."

"Colton was our contractor. He was very efficient. Stayed on the job and made sure we were satisfied with his work. At times he would ask what we preferred, before he would complete a project. He Was very considerate. Definitely a people person. Was a pleasure to work with. The company Tailored roofing and remodeling did what they said they would do. They were able to accommodate us like we wanted. My wife was having knee surgery first of month and they held their promise to get it done by the time she was home. I would highly recommend this company. Thank you"

"Sadly I’ve seen many bad contractors throughout the years. I know how hard it is to find someone who you can trust to do a GREAT job. It’s one thing to find someone who will “get the job done,” but how well they do the job is often entirely another thing. Nate Svoboda at Wichita Home Works, LLC prides himself in his work, business, and reputation. This is a company that seems to pride themselves in making the customers’ needs and wants a main priority. - trustworthy - fair - honest - Christian - reliable - dependable - speedy - highest of quality - clean - hardworking These are just a few of the things that describe the type of person and kind of work you will get when you hire Wichita Home Works, LLC."

"The auto transport service provided by United Freight of America is an A+++ organization! I reserved the covered auto transport truck and boy, is that truck fancy! It has lifts that raise and lower to load your vehicle inside, to keep it clear from the elements. I needed them to transport my deceased brother's vehicle to me in Texas- that car is my heart now as my brother cherished it so! I needed a quality company- one that I could trust and most of all, rely on to get the vehicle to me in pristine condition. They did just that! And, I don't want to forget the Driver as well as he could not have been more professional. I HIGHLY recommend this auto transport company. I don't know that I have seen a classier auto transport company. Call them :-)"

"<p>Tim does very professional work, uses quality materials, his work is always done as expected and on time. I am picky when it comes to things being done right and he has never disappointed me. </p> <p>I live in a townhome and the person I share it with first found him to do some siding work and I agreed to use him. This first project was completed well and as expected. </p> <p><br /></p> <p>The second project I had was the framework around my chimney was rotting and needed replaced.  I checked around, Tim was not the cheapest, coming in mid-priced but I went with him because I knew his work. When the work was finished it was of good quality and I felt that even though he was not the cheapest, I got what I paid for.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>His 3rd visit was building a deck. I did not shop around at all, I knew Tim's work and felt good about using him. My deck is super solid, made of quality materials and was build exactly as expected.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>The most recent time I used T.O. Construction was to repair a bathroom after a water line burst. Again work done in a professional manner.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>Tim does not have a fancy website or big ad's in the phonebook, I believe it is all word of mouth. When you hire him, it is him doing the work with maybe the aid of another person or 2. He may not be the cheapest but you get solid work done on time with quality materials. I have always been left feeling I got what I paid for and never disappointed. </p> <p><br /></p> <p>My $8000 cost estimate is the total I have spent with him, not the single cost of most recent visit</p> <p><br /></p> <br />"

FAQs for remodel to accommodate a disability projects in Wichita, KS

Standard Medicare coverage often doesn't extend to home modifications, such as roll-in showers. In specific circumstances where medical necessity is clearly established, limited coverage might be available through certain Medicare programs. Many homeowners explore alternative funding sources such as home modification grants, veterans' benefits, or specialized financing programs designed for accessibility improvements. Consulting with a Medicare representative about your specific situation provides the most accurate guidance.

Roll-in showers deliver significant benefits beyond their monetary return, particularly in terms of safety, independence, and long-term accessibility. By eliminating barriers to bathing, these installations help prevent falls while accommodating mobility devices, such as wheelchairs or walkers. Their open design creates a contemporary appearance that appeals to many homebuyers. For households planning to age in place or accommodate family members with mobility challenges, the functional advantages often outweigh pure financial considerations.

A standard roll-in shower installation takes two to four days. Projects requiring extensive renovation or plumbing changes may take longer, potentially extending to several weeks or months. Factors affecting the timeline include existing bathroom configuration, permit processing times, contractor availability, and material delivery schedules. Creating proper drainage slopes often requires additional preparation time compared to traditional shower installations, particularly when modifying existing floor structures.
