"Exceptionally precise painter. I interviewed 4 painters for my project. Some higher, some lower on bids. All just followed up on the phone, only John requested to meet me face to face to answer questions. I obliged him and we met at a local store. I was leaving and he ran in front of me to shake my hand to say thank you for the opportunity to earn my business! I am only 39 yrs old, but I sure appreciated his old fashioned values of "his name is his word" type of mentality. This is a person you can rely on to do a great job. Did my entire house interior. Cleaned up his mess daily, went above and beyond to make sure the walls were repaired/prepped correctly, even pointed out issues and asked what I would like him to do on them, most of time he just fixed them on his own. I asked him the first day why he didn't use painters tape to protect the edge work, wood, etc. He smiled and said he didn't want to rely on a crutch and that his hands were to do the work of precision. No JOKE, this guys hands were more steady than a surgeon. My cut lines are perfect and I can't find one spot on any wood work with issues. He even took some white paint to cover mistakes from other careless painters on the ceiling. My kids miss him too. They are 7 and 5 and felt like he was their big brother he was so nice to them. Upfront with costs, didn't try to change on me, adjusted to my schedule when needed, and so trustworthy I even left the house on occassion with family and left him there alone. I never do that. He finished job and would not remove his paint tools until I gave him permission upon my final inspection of the home. What honesty, integrity, professionalism, caring, and all around great work! Highly recommend to anyone. I will be having him back this spring to do more work to outsides."

"Shawn was very professional and helpful during the transaction.  He came out quickly for the estimate and measurements, and was able to get me into his schedule that week.  He helped me match the rest of the carpet and picked options for me to purchase at a local carpet outlet.  After I purchased the carpet, he picked it up for me.  The piece of carpet had a flaw, and he had to return it to the store and have another piece cut.  (He did all this in the rain!)  On top of that, when he discovered a pet stain on the subfloor under the hallway carpet, he covered it thoroughly with primer before he laid the new carpet.  I was very happy with the service and the end result.  I would absolutely hire Salas Flooring for future transaction."
