I couldn't even imagine what kind of artisan could do such repair a until i met michael, truly a jack of all trades. he carefully scraped the backs of the plastic pieces and came up with an adhesive to reattach them, which seems to be working.

my only quibble is that he is a little unpredictable as to arrival time, which i attribute to taking great care with every job and giving each the hard-to-predict time it deserves.
