"I have no problem with the products or the people doing the lawn. I DO have a problem with their scheduleing. I sign up for 4 applications a year and they try to sneak more in at my cost. This has been going on for the past 3-4 years after repeatedly asking them to not do this. So after the first application this year, they called to apply another application within days of the first one. I've had enough. <br />"

"After following the monthly lawn care fertilization schedule most of the year, on advice of Lawn Dawg, they performed the core aeration and overseeding service. The results were excellent. We have renewed the maintenance contract for the following year as we were very pleased with the overall results and their courteous and professional service."

"We've been using Ace for 2-3 years. They are a first class operation. They are punctual, friendly, courteous, and they do a fine job. Access to several windows is difficult because furniture is in the way. They carefully moved drapes and furniture, and returned them to their proper position when finished. <br /> Highly recommended. <br />"

"I bought the house late last year, and the backyard was heavily wooded with about 40 trees, some in bad condition. <br /> The work was done in three visits, one each in July, August, and September. In late June, Sav-A-Tree's arborist, Mark V. came out and spent about an hour or more with me looking over the trees in the back yard and making recommendations. I decided to go ahead and have five of the worst problems done as soon as possible. The crew came on July 3, and did the work. I could stay from work home for part of the day, and so saw them at work, and they clearly had the right equipment and know how. The work was done well, and the yard was left in good condition. <br /> A "safari" treatment for the woody adelgid's was done in August. We have many hemlocks and this is an expensive treatment, but I don't want to lose the plants. Too soon to tell whether this has been effective. <br /> I was satisfied with their work, so had them come back in September to do the remainder of the work that Mark had recommended. This involved some of the largest trees, including a large oak overhanging a shed. The oak required a bucket truck, which they were able to maneuver into the backyard using a pole pruner to raise the house power line while the truck went under it. My wife was home that day, and thought the crew did a great job maneuvering the bucket thru the trees, and climbing others. <br /> The yard looks much better than it did in June. I didn't shop around for price, so I can't say where the price might compare to others. I took advantage of a $300 off deal from Angie's list initially. I was pleased with the work, and they showed up when expected and completed the work in each of the three visits. Mark, the arborist stopped by the day after the work was finished to see how it turned out. <br /> <br /> <br />"

"I could not be happier with my choice. Shawn was professional, friendly, and knowlegable from first contact. He was not the cheapest nor the most expensive estimate I received to complete the work. His quote included more than the cheaper and more expensive estimates I had received. Once hired he began immediately and removed the trees from the house in the first day. It took a little time to complete the job but his concern was the ruin of a lawn in pristine condition. He waited for the ground to dry before starting the portion of the work that required heavy equipment. The lot is also on a very steep downward angle . I feel that he completed the job in a timely manner considering that the weather continued to work against him. Upon finishing he left the property in excellent condition. He removed the 7 foot diameter root ball as well so one would never know the wreck it all had been . The only tell tale sign is where he graded, seeded, and fertilized the portion on the yard where the trees had fallen and gouged the ground."
