"My wife and I searched Google, Yelp and Aggie List for the prospective roofing companies to assess our aging roof and to propose the right actions to repair the water damages, which we could see occurred at the corners of our roof. Instead of asking up for 6 companies for this job, as indicated by other reviews, we nailed it down to 2 companies only after extensive search. These 2 companies all have very good reviews to start with, and they came to look at our roof promptly and both came to the same conclusion that we needed a complete re-roofing. The project would replace the water-proofing felt layer and any broken tiles. Any water damaged or termite infested wood should be replaced also at pre-determined per foot price per category. These 2 companies bid were a little different. But ‘Above It All Roofing’ has a 10-year warranty, which my wife cares a lot. Then the sale person Dave made a big difference in the decision making. He was courteous and honest. We felt that could trust him. He worked hard to get our project and came to our house 2 times before we finally signed the contract with ‘Above It All Roofing’. Our project then was scheduled to start. The owner of the other company happened to know the owner of ‘Above It All Roofing’, Mike. Even after we notified him that we would go with ‘Above It All Roofing’, he still gave us good reference and blessing. So we felt good choosing the right company for our roof project. There were 5 people worked on our roof. They were nice and friendly, cleaned all debris at the end of the day before they left. Everything went smoothly. We were surprised that there was more wood damage than was expected earlier. Dave came here every day and showed us the damaged wood after it was replaced. We are happy with the work done and believe that an excellent review is what the company, their workers, and Dave deserve."

"Sept. 2024. We own a single story 2150 square feet home in Yorbe Linda. The spanisch tile roof is now 35 years old and it was leaking in one spot. ,We decided to replace all the underlying tar paper for the whole roof. We got four estimates, One was very close to California Roof experts, and two's costs 20% more. California Roof experts was the only company that offered a 20-year warranty on their work. They use a new superstrong woven silicone roofing paper to give this guarantee. Plus they were the only one that would reset the tiles on commercial wood strips to hold the tile in place. The wood strips have 3/8" thick rubber pads that will the water, if any, to allow to run under the strips. They did reuse the sheet metal that is places at the low point of two sided (gulley). I was skeptical of the sheet metals condition and I had Arthuro bring the sheet metal down for inspection and they showed no rust spots. I did however have Arthuro hammer flat some protruding sheet metal spots where the previous nails were so as not to cut the thin woven silicone paper. Also, we insisted on using city inspection, for which we paid, $330, Once the roofers started, they had always a full crew on the job, and we never had to call them up or prod them. Each evening, they cleaned up around the house before the left. There was no request for additional tiles, cement or any other item. Once the job was completed, it passed city inspection the first time. We are very satisfied with the company, their management, and their workers. Gunter H. Sanders"

"We were very, very fortunate to find West Roofing (owner: Joe Elady). They did an outstanding job on with the replacement of our 16 Unit building's 10000 Sqft roof. The rains from earlier in the year has caused water damaged in multiple units and owners were very anxious to replace the roof before the rain season starts again. The roof vetting process was very discouraging. Contactors were either too busy to entertain a new project, their process seemed lacking and unclear, flaky with appointment commitments, or bids left us exposed for surprise costs that could occur during the roof replacement process. After 4 months of searching we found West Roofing. Our patience paid off. At this time we were very experienced at the vetting process. We met with the owner, Joe Elady, three times. He had the patience to listen, took the time to clearly explain what would be done to our roof and exactly what materials would be used. He was both easy to talk to, and understand. "They had a crew of 6 plus supervisor. Stripped roof and repaired some of roof in one day. Second day no inspector. 3rd day did the rest of the repair including 60 ft of new 2x6 facing, Even painted it and installed the complete roof with attached garage. All finished and beat the rain!!!"
