"Jimmy, Josh and their crews took a jungle of a back yard and made it beautiful. The designed and did the entire project. We have received dozens of compliments from our neighbors as well as the City Inspectors. The built the retaining wall and waterfall, did the grading and installed the complete drainage and irrigation systems. Their price was very fair and concrete began the project they stayed on the job until they finished. I would give them six stars if I could. Highly recommend them for all landscape related projects. "I am incredibly grateful for the fantastic service Corey Harris provided in the way he addressed my chronic flooding issue. My husband and I purchased a new home about eight years. During that time, we discovered a hidden creek in our backyard. The creek received water from several neighbors' located behind us on an hill. After a storm or heavy rain, the creek would crest. This caused an enormous amount of water to run through our backyard, into our driveway, cross the street, enter our neighbors' driveway, and into their backyard. The water resulted in large holes forming in the street and flooding. Because of Corey's excellent analytical skills, he was able to offer his assistance. We had several lengthy discussions which focused on the best approach without spending a fortune. Corey explained everything clearly and gave many options, as well as explanations of each. Corey showed enthusiasm. He was professional, personable, and a fast pace worker. He also exhanged thoughts and opinions with neighbors impacted by the flood. My neighbors and I can't thank Corey enough for going beyond expectations. Job well done."

"C&W Dirt Work did a great job correcting a run off issue on our property. The run off had eroded a large portion of our back yard. Grant and his team came up with a solution to fix the issue by removing some trees to reroute the water and installing a rip rap rock wall to prevent the issue from happening again. He worked with us in a timely manner as he fit us in to his busy schedule since the yard was literally washing away every time it rained. He showed up on time and when he said he would be there. His price was very reasonable and his work was outstanding. I would definitely hire C&W Dirt Work again and would recommend them to anyone needing this kind of service. Thanks for taking care of our problem and being so easy to work with!!"

"Building a new out building for a wood shop.  The location needed some excavation back into a hill to come up with a level area large enough for the 16'x20' footprint and 6' perimeter area for the installers.  The work seem to grow as we moved back into the hill; we ended up using close to 80 railroad ties to shore up the back and sides for the site. <br /> We also decided to "bury" the power feed from an existing power pole so a change was made to the original contract.  While digging the trench, came across a significant piece of "Shelby County Gold (chert!)" which posed its own challenge.  Mother nature proved a bit fitful with Spring rain to really soak down the newly exposed dirt; delays were unavoidable but Heath stayed with it and we were able to get a level building site and a wire ready power conduit before the builders arrived to start construction. <br /> All of this being said, Heath did a great job on what started as a seemingly easy request but turned out to be a more complex project with multiple challenges.  We are very pleased with his work, his work ethic and attention to detail.  Any future grading or excavation work will definitely be pointed in Heath's direction. <br />"

"Terrascape Pros did a fantastic job repairing our sprinkler system that would not turn off. Branden came out to determine the problem, gave me a quote, and then completed the work. I highly recommend this company. They were professional and very knowledgeable on repairing irrigation systems. I will use them again in the future."

"Terrific. We bought this home for our niece and had it completely renovated. We live out of state and had to depend on these folks to look after everything. They took the worry out of the project. And the finished product was excellent!!!"

"Jamie and Deborah came with two helpers to mulch my beds with pine straw (75 bales) and remove four large bushes.  They showed up on the appointed day and did a good job, cleaning up nicely and hauling off the bushes. They also did some cutting back work with the weed eater at no charge.  The bushes were easier to remove than any of us anticipated, and if I had to do that part again I would have gotten my husband to try his hand at it before hiring a contractor, but they've given us good value in the past so I had no objection to paying the price we had previously agreed on, especially in view of the extra work they did.  I will use them again. <br />"

"5 stars is not enough for Carson and his company! 4 of my neighbors moved on a steep bluff overlooking the lake, but we couldn’t see the lake through the trees and overgrown brush. Carson worked with all the neighbors to make sure everyone was happy with the scope of the project. He and his workers were professional and extremely knowledgeable about irrigation, erosion, the major equipment needed and how to drop the gigantic trees on a dime!! They pay attention to detail and left the job immaculately clean! I can’t say enough great things about this company! Great communication and they exceeded our expectations by working earlier and later every day of the project. Outstanding 5 star company from start to finish!"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Wilton, AL

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
