"We began the process with SunPower when a representative knocked on the door and asked if we were interested in exploring solar power. After this we were put in touch with Arvin, who guided us through the entire process and was thorough, transparent, helpful, and responsive. First, Arvin met with us in our home for over an hour exploring all the details of various options including PPA (power purchase agreements) and financing. After we expressed initial interest during this meeting, SunPower sent a site inspector to our home to analyze our readiness for a solar panel installation. After this, we stayed in touch with Arvin while exploring the details of our home’s solar power system. Initially, we were hesitant about the idea of a PPA since we wouldn’t own the panels that were on our roof. Once Arvin explained the details of how the PPA works, including provisions for if we do construction on our roof or move to a new home, we became much more comfortable. We ended up choosing to go with a PPA because we liked the idea of paying only for the power being produced, rather than for the equipment itself. The proposed system of solar panels was projected to cover 90% of our home’s monthly energy needs."

"We chose NRG for our solar installation. Everyone we worked with (especially Gemma and Leila) was incredibly helpful and responsive along every step of the process. They responded to emails and texts within a day or two at the most, but usually within a couple of hours. They were patient and very helpful with all of the questions we had (and we had many!), and they were happy to coordinate with other contractors that were doing work on our house at the same time. We did a fairly detailed analysis of the quality, cost, efficiencies, and expected lifetime of the equipment that NRG proposed compared to other companies, and we are confident that they provided the best equipment at the best cost. The installers that came to our house were very professional, worked quickly, and the system was up and running within hours - very impressive. We passed our inspection with no issues and the whole process was completely painless! "It was amazing. I've been planning on installing solar and wanted to do it this year to take advantage of the tax credit. My plans were delayed by a remodeling job that would affect the roof. Marco was able to layout the panels and all the wiring to avoid the areas that would be affected by construction.
