Last week we had some plants and river rocks installed next to blue stone steps that were installed last year. Again the work was professionally completed. We have had John as our site manager for the last four visits to our property installing drainage and plants as well as spring clean-up. He is very focused on the job to be completed but always evaluates other areas of the property to ensure that it is in good condition. On this visit he noticed problems with our ivy and indicated that he would research possible solutions. He is a great team leader working along with the other workers. "In late fall, I noticed that a piece of a stone wall abutting my driveway had broken off and was drifting into the driveway. Concerned that the wall would fall into the driveway, I contacted Quinn Brothers Masonry. They came out within two days, assessed the situation and gave me an estimate. The work involved taking down both walls, knocking off old mortar on the stones, and removing ivy. After the walls were taken down, protective covering was placed on the exposed dirt, and drainage pipes and gravel were installed. They then rebuilt the walls, using the original stones. While rebuilding the walls, Patrick Quinn advised me that my stone house foundation had been compromised by paint and old mortar. I authorized additional work to restore the foundation. The paint on the stone foundation was removed and the old mortar was taken out. Then, the entire foundation had new mortar installed. I am extremely pleased with the results and will definitely hire them again."
