"I sent Mr. Long a text regarding what I thought was a leak in the roof somewhere in the vicinity of the chimney. He went to my house and based on his assessment, suggested that I have the chimney flashing and some roof shingles replaced.  He gave me an estimate for the work and a five year warranty.  I texted him and told him that I wanted him to do the work.  I happened to be home when Mr. Long came to my house to perform the work.  I invited him inside to show him where the water was coming in.  After seeing the inside, he said that I probably didn't have a roof leak at all since none of the drywall was wet, especially after all the rain we had just had from Tropical Storm Colin, but maybe the chimney cap needed to be replaced.  He said he would get on the roof and take a look.  After coming down, he showed me where it appeared that the chimney cap was not down far enough on the chimney.  He adjusted the chimney cap.  When I asked him how much I owed him, he said to give him whatever I thought was fair.  I took into account the two trips he made to my house and the fact that he did not take advantage of me and do a repair that I did not need.  I also took into account that it was less than a week from the time that I first contacted him to the time that he did the work.  I was so grateful for his willingness to come out to my house, which was a pretty good distance for him, and his integrity for not performing work that I did not need. When I paid him, he actually asked me if I thought I should give him that much.  I told him that I did think it was fair considering the two trips he made and for the value of his time and integrity.  "

"I am constantly having problems with my drain lines.  I couldn't get my regular plumber over because he is on vacation, so I got online and found LeGrand drain cleaners.  When he got here he looked at my drain and asked me a lot of question.  After he got the drain cleaned out he said I should get a video inspection of the line.  I really didn't want to because it cost a lot of money.  I finally told him to go ahead. When he showed me the video I could see where roots had go inside, but the worst part is there was a spot where the pipe had broke or crushed.  He said this is why you have had to have guys coming out so often.  I told him I cant afford to replace it.  He did go outside and spray paint a big X where the pipe is broken at. He said we can dig it up and replace the bad part but that I should really consider replacing the whole line.  I told him that me and my dad will dig it up and replace it.  For now he said all the roots are gone but to make sure no one flushes anything but toilet paper down there.  I wish that someone had used the camera before.  I have spent a lot of money on guys cleaning my drain and they never really found out the problem until today.  He also fixed my toilet that was leaking.  I will use him again! <br />"
