Rocky Mountain Custom Decks maintains a General Contractor’s license in El Paso and Teller Counties, is a member of the Better Business Bureau, and possesses general liability insurance. A 5 year warranty on workmanship is standard. We also offer extensive financing options.
"We had Rocky Mountain Custom Decks build our deck about 10 years ago. My husband is an engineer and he was highly impressed with the work by Nate and his crew. So, when we decided to replace our front porch rails with Trex we knew who to call. When Nate started working on our porch, he discovered Classic Homes was only using 2x4 beams to support the roof over the porch. Classic built a box around each support beam so we never knew! Nate replaced them with treated 4x4 beams. Our porch was not level so he had to make several adjustments to ensure the Trex railings lined up correctly and looked level from the street, side of house, etc. He consulted with us each time to make sure we were ok with what he was doing to account for our builder's screw ups. It's nice to have a contractor that treats each project like it is for his own home. I fully trust Nate to give me a quality job every time. I wouldn't use anyone else."

Lifespans range from roughly seven to 75 years, depending on the materials you choose. They’re also a smart choice for challenging sites, such as sloped yards or locations with rock or high groundwater, which can make installing a traditional in-ground pool difficult.
Depending on the build, your timeline can be as short as two days or as long as five weeks. Lowering an existing above-ground pool a few feet takes three to five days. Building a raised in-ground pool with concrete walls and a retaining wall takes several weeks. Remember to factor in contractor schedules and permit approvals—they can tack on a few extra days at either end.
With standard liners, a semi-inground pool lasts seven to 15 years. Upgrade to a concrete shell and you’re looking at up to 75 years of service. As with any pool, top-tier materials and consistent maintenance are the key to achieving long-term durability, allowing you to plan your investment and upkeep with confidence.
Most semi-inground pools fall between three and eight feet deep. Lap pools, for instance, stay around four feet throughout, while family-style models may pair a shallow end with a deeper section. Your liner choice and how much soil you remove ultimately set the depth, and both decisions influence the project’s final price and layout.
