My husband usually spends time (and $) at the beginning of the season making sure the water stays clean and clear. But patching up all the spots, and then painting the entire pool ensured the pool was so much easier to clean and keep clear on day 1. "I was initially upset because I had purchased an Angies's promo of 16 man hours of painting. when the owner came to scope the job I said I wanted the house painted - particularly the places I could not reach without an extension ladder. He said they wouldn't be able to finish the work within the 16 man hours and quoted me the cost to finish the 2 sides of the house. When they were finished on day 2 after only 1/2 the day, I felt I had been overcharged to finish the work in order to offset the deal I paid for - which made the "deal" not really a deal. When I called the owner, he agreed to do an additional 1/2 day. I was initially not pleased with the way this was quoted but the owner did make good on the arrangement to my satisfaction. The painters did a very good job of prepping, painting and cleaning up the property. I was pleased with his painters."
