"Our eight year old Whirlpool washer began showing Error Code F35 and would not function. I called ProServ and arranged for an appointment the next day. The serviceman arrived promptly and was quickly able to find the cause of the problem -- a faulty pressure sensor. Unfortunately, this was not a part stocked locally, and so it had to be ordered from a distribution center. The new sensor arrived two days later, and was installed the same day. Voila, the washer was fixed!
Regarding pricing: the initial diagnosis was $50; the part (which cost less than a dollar to make) cost $132; the remaining repair charge was $108. Given that the serviceman needed to make two trips, I think ProServ's labor charge was fair. I checked online the price of the Whirlpool genuine replacement part, and that cost was simply passed along to me with a negligible, if any, mark up.
I gave ProServ the highest possible positive review because the company earned it. ProServ was quick in its response, diagnosed and fixed the problem as rapidly as practicable, and was fair in its pricing.
I will use this company again.
