I started with a request for a quote in May 2022. My HOA wouldn't approve. Jake was great about working on modifications to the original proposal to comply with our HOA guidelines and provided me paperwork to include in my 2nd and 3rd appeals to the HOA. "We really love and appreciate Arneel’s Tree & Yard. Chris Arneel and Staff are extremely professional and reliable. We had six large shrubs and bushes, that were 20 years old, taken out. We had two tall Leland Cypresses, that were 18 years old, cut down to the stumps. We had them put in fourteen 8’ fence posts along our backyard border. They raked and mulched our flower beds in the front and side of our house. They did a great job removing everything and cleaning up. We have plans to have them back to do some landscaping and concrete service and more."

"Because Ritter Fence LLC had installed our fence 15 years ago, we invited Steve Ritter, to give us an estimate on some new privacy fencing. Early this spring, he came to our home to measure for the fencing and then again, to bring a sample of the cap board. Each time he was punctual. Mr. Ritter's estimate was quite reasonable for "cedar," so we later decided to request an additional estimate for removing and resurfacing two decks as well. On this occasion, in May, he measured for materials for the decks and stated he would get these estimates to us at a later date. At the same visit Mr. Ritter brought a contract along with him for the fence; however, in the meantime a check with the Maryland Home Improvement Commission (MHIC) revealed that his MHIC license had expired. He stated that he was unaware that had happened. He asked for a deposit on the fence and set up an install date; but we refused to sign the contract until he reinstated his license. Early in September I contacted the MHIC to find that Ritter Fence LLC's license still had not been reinstated. In a call to Mr. Ritter that day, he stated that he hopes to have the license reinstated this November. You be the judge. We will seek estimates elsewhere. Our patience ran out. Fence estimate only since never received deck estimates."
