"Great job. Cole has done several jobs for me and I can say for certain not only does he do exceptional work he is always pleasant and professional. He gets the job done right and stands by his work all for a fair price. In real estate I always need a plumber and Cole does far more than that. He installed a new water filtration system, replaced toilets, replaced water heaters, fixed and replaced valves for sinks, faucets, and W/D lines and scoped and cleaned clogged lines, just to name a few. If you need a plumber who is honest, hard working and professional and won't break the bank give Method plumbing a try you wont regret it."

"I liked how quick Right Now Heating & Air installed the system. I also liked that they kept their word without arguing about the small things. I did not like the way they set up the system, especially for the price."

"Ray and his son could not have been better. My husband was the one who was there while the work was done and he came home with a glowing report. He was impressed with the quality of the water heaters Ray provided and with Ray's knowledge and skill. He also said Ray was just a likable guy and enjoyable to talk to. My husband usually installs faucets himself, but since Ray was scheduled to be there, we asked him to do it. We were so glad we did. The previous homeowner had done some pretty creative configuration under the sink in his do-it-yourself faucet installation and even Ray had his work cut out for him getting things properly aligned and getting the new one in. My husband thought that might have taken more of Ray's time than installing the two new water heaters did! Ray also was able to instantly diagnose and repair the master bathtub drain that had been leaking into the crawlspace. After all was said and done, Ray charged us exactly what he promised for the water heaters (which was a bit less than Sears would have been) and only $90 extra for installing the faucet and fixing the tub drain, even though the faucet was a time consuming pain. We would absolutely have Ray back and asked for a stack of business cards to give our friends and neighbors. "

"I had my sewer pump alarm going off frequently. I called another company who diagnosed the problem for $250 but then told me that my pump had too much grease around the floaters and they don't offer the sewer cleaning service and I should Google to find a company that performs the service. I found and called West Side drain who came within couple of hours, cleaned and vacuumed the sewer pump very efficiently, added enzyme and gave advise on keeping the sewer pump clean. Josh was extremely helpful, courteous, and efficient. Will hire them for any plumbing needs."

"I was truly amazed at the time and effort my installer took to ensure my ADA handles and seat were properly installed and he showed me along the way during construction the extra supports he was installing so I had peace of mind knowing how secure I was going to be. My estimator Trish was outstanding in helping with all my needs and helped me pick out the most amazing shower and accessories and took my current handicap and the future of my needs into great consideration. Bath planet went above and beyond during this pandemic and obtained the approvals from the state to get my work done because they knew my current shower was unsafe and unusable for me and they showed true concern for my safety. I have another project for them and I’m looking forward to designing and building that one out also! I’m six foot one inches and I have been ducking to get into a shower my entire adult life, this shower is taller than I am and for the first time I can stand in the door of the shower and still have plenty of room above my head! No more water on the floor! Thank you Bath Planet!!!"

"Richard was outstanding!  He showed up on a timely basis for the first appointment, which was to provide an estimate.  He was thorough, and although he tried to upsell us on several items, he was not pushy at all.  His price was very competitive, and beat the lowest other bid by over $200.  On the day of the installation, he called us early to let us know that the supplier would be dropping off the tanks, and then showed up at the appointed time for the actual installation.  The installation went great and he finished in the timeframe that he stated he would finish.  He was friendly, but professional.  He even installed a new shower head in our daughter's bathroom free of charge.  We are planning a bathroom renovation soon, and we will definitely use Noble for this work!  I highly recommend him! <br />"

FAQs for plumbing installation for a remodel or addition projects in Worley, ID

Adding bathroom plumbing to a detached garage starts with the basic line installation cost of $900 to $1,300. On top of this base expense, you'll need to budget for each fixture. A toilet costs  $250 to $550, sinks cost $150 to $800, and a shower or bathtub costs $400 to $1,900. The project will also require ventilation, moisture-resistant materials, and possibly electrical work. Remember that these costs reflect only the plumbing aspects—additional construction, finishing, and permitting expenses will apply to complete a functional bathroom space.

While certain aspects of garage renovation might be suitable for DIY enthusiasts, plumbing installation requires professional expertise. Connecting to water and sewer systems demands specialized knowledge and equipment, and improper installation can result in severe water damage, code violations, and potential health hazards. Most municipalities require permits for plumbing modifications, and these often stipulate that licensed professionals must perform work. Consider limiting your involvement to simpler tasks like painting or basic finishing work.

The timeframe for adding plumbing to a detached garage spans one to three days for the actual plumbing work. However, this represents only the active installation period. The complete project timeline must account for planning, obtaining permits (which can take weeks depending on your locality), coordinating multiple contractors if needed, and addressing any unexpected challenges that arise during installation. Weather conditions can also impact excavation and outdoor connection work.

Adding plumbing to a detached garage will likely increase your property taxes. Tax assessors consider plumbing an improvement that enhances property value and functionality. The specific tax impact varies by location and project scope. Converting a garage into living space with plumbing facilities can trigger significant reassessment in many jurisdictions. Before proceeding with your project, consult your local tax assessor's office to understand the potential tax implications and factor this ongoing expense into your decision-making process.
